She attended law school and passed her bar exam on the very first attempt. She met the love of her life in a romance novel sort of way. They married and have three beautiful (and sometimes crazy) kids.

Jessica loves to travel and travel often! She’s jumped out of several perfectly good airplanes. When not watching her son isn't racing in a regatta or her daughters dominate the volleyball court, she watches Buckeye football and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Argumento:

De seis grados de frío a un calor abrasador...

Como jefe de distribución de su pasatiempo (y el de sus socios) convertido en una cervecería multimillonaria con sede en Orlando, Rex Bancroft viaja todo el tiempo. No hay tiempo para una relación. Tampoco quiere una. Sólo un corazón roto y ahora juega en el campo y lo juega a menudo. Pero algo en la morena en el mostrador de boletos del aeropuerto de Grand Rapids lo tiene en picada.

Un viaje a Grand Rapids, Michigan, en febrero, no es nada de lo que Anna Montgomery, nacida y criada en Florida, espera. Centrada en su carrera, el gélido viaje de negocios puede ayudar a Anna a subir el siguiente peldaño en la escala corporativa, pero anhela volver al clima más cálido lo antes posible para poder volver a sentir los dedos de los pies.

Mi humilde opinión:

Disfruté leer la historia de amor de Anna y Rex. Se conocen en el aeropuerto cuando sus vuelos se retrasan por el clima, es atracción instantánea cuando chocan casualmente, horas varados las convierten en una aventura de una noche pero Rex quiere seguir viendo a Anna sin embargo, ella piensa que una relación a larga distancia con sus trabajos ocupados no funcionará pero él le mostrará lo contrario.

Rex era un héroe para el desmayo! Era un tipo positivo, encantador, comprensivo, paciente, dulce y sexy. Me gustaba cómo era con Anna.. Para él era la chica indicada y nunca se dio por vencido con ella.

Anna era una mujer inteligente, confiada y resguardada en cuanto a sus sentimientos. Fue frustrante verla queriendo sabotear su relación con Rex. Me pareció ridícula cuando le por echó la culpa por haber perdido foco en el trabajo cuando no era culpa de Rex.

Me gustaron mucho los lugares en la historia, las descripciones y sensaciones. Mí lugar favorito fue la cervecería de los amigos, Dog Tired beer, de pronto me dieron muchas ganas de ir a sentarme con amigas y probar la famosa cerveza negra de invierno.

El final me hizo sufrir un poco pero como siempre, Rex tuvo toda la paciencia del mundo y le hizo ver a Anna que podía ser apreciada en otra empresa, lo más importante de todo... que valía la pena seguir juntos. El epílogo fue muy romántico, se movieron rápido pero como dicen, cuando lo sabes, lo sabes.

Great novella! Super quick and easy to read with compelling characters and such an adorable meet cute. It's literally like reading my dreams of having an airport romance.

Rex has had his heart closed off since his ex but as soon as he sees Anna while stranded in an airport due to the weather, something changes and he just has to know her. Anna is a very work-oriented person and strives on making plans but after getting to know each other, she can't help but wish for more. They're both so instantly captivated by each other, it's adorable and honestly I believe everyone deserves a Rex (he gives golden retriever energy). I will say though that I couldn't give it a 5 because Anna kind of got on my nerves a few times but I still enjoyed this.

This is a first for me from this author and I highly recommend if you need a light and fluffy (level 2 spice) palette cleanser!! Thank you for this ARC, this is my honest review <3

Just one broken heart had Rex Bancroft swear off relationships for good. He's perfected his technique to pick up his latest hookup and is standing in just the right place for the cute brunette to "accidentally" stumble into him at the airport. A winter storm has them both stranded in icy Michigan and a one night stand seems the perfect distraction. Warm blooded Floridian Anna Montgomery doesn't usually do flings, but there's something about this enigmatic stranger that draws her in. And after one night, she's not ready to let him go.
I liked this short and sweet novella written about my home state. Grand Rapids has become beer city for its many indie breweries and I enjoyed reading about Rex being the distributor for his brewery he runs with his best friends. I look forward to the other books in the series.

Anna and Rex are stuck in Michigan because of a snow storm.

So when they both agree to one night together he knows he can't let her go because he has stronger feeling then he's ever had for anyone. Can he convince her to give them a chance?

Anna had her goals in life and find love wasn't one of them. But now that Rex has convinced her to give them a chance, and everything is falling apart will she see the good and fight for her goals and him?

You will definitely cheer them on to forever.

This is the first in a new series, and this is Rex and Anna’s journey.
Rex is head of distribution and is a co-owner of a multi dollar brewery business, which has him traveling a lot. When Rex and Anna cross paths the sparks fly, and when they are stranded together due to a snowstorm, one night is just not enough.
This is a good story which is a quick read, undeniable chemistry, with engaging characters, romance, and love, which leads to a spicy, sweet novella.

Short and spicy romance. Anna and Rex meet when their flight is delayed. The insta heat between them forces Anna to go against her moral code and give in to a possible dream of a one night stand. However, that one night becomes more! Great characters and setting. A wishful thinking read for every flight delay you suffer!.

I don't know if I am just a fast reader or if the story was short but one thing I am sure of is that I enjoyed every moment I spent devouring the words of this story. Mother Nature intervenes and allows Rex and Anna the opportunity to connect and fall in love. I only wish these things happened more in real life.

I really enjoyed this read about a one-night stand that turns into something more. Rex was so nice, sweet, and forgiving for a reformed play boy. This was a steamy story with a really good plot line. I can't wait for more stories in this series.

Rex and Anna’s story has them meeting and having a mile high since stranded at the airport due to inclement weather. But they decide to have a long distance relationship. Will these two get their hea together a good drama filled emotional story.

I love Rex. He is flirty but with Anna, so sure. He is protective and supportive. Anna is a tiny bit annoying. She wants to downplay everything. This story is sweet and cute and very full of chemistry. The writing is nicely done.

the plot is okay but execution is kind of lackluster... felt it was a little superficial and there wasn't much characters history to understand more about them.

additionally, i think there are things that could have been written out iso brushing them under the table by a simple narration. for example, the hero visited the heroine weekends to spend time with her, and have met her parents and friends etc but it wasn't shown, just "oh, he have met them", that's all. would have been a nicer read if it has been expanded more.
