This book is hard to put a finger on. If the inside cover (and the ending of this story) are any indication, there will eventually be a third in the series.

J'Stan is still recounting/mind melding his story and everything that has led up to the present.

It is at times sweet, gruesome, hopeful and heart wrenching.
