What starts out as a sort of General Hospital kind of drama shifts gears a bit. Cosmetic surgeons, a former married couple, start seeing their patients being harmed. They start to investigate and find out that they are involved in an ancient Greek curse.
The first third is a tad slow. The buildup to the curse is better. Once the curse is explained, though, it gets a little silly. Kind of lame to be honest. It rides between interesting and repetitious. Didn't know Playboy went in for things like this.
A couple decide to start a cosmetic surgery in an old building. Slowly patients who have had work done start to be attacked. One of the doctors is a direct descendant of a mythical God who kills another's son who is than transformed into human form to seek revenge to eradicate all the seeds. The book cover of the Doberman the size of a small lion, the purest shade of coal black, with three heads, the putrid stench coming of its body, loud slurping sounds as it devours flesh, the protector of the gates of hell is not portrayed enough in this book sadly.
