Very, very, very basic book that introduces drums to complete neophytes. It explains the basic arrangement of drums, manufacturers, types of drummers, how to tune drums, styles of drumming, and lots of basic drum notation. Good for kids just getting an understanding of rhythms and learning about drums, but not really a good tool for playing drums.

I like this book better than "Drums for Dummies," even thought I don't think I'm a *complete* idiot when it comes to learning to play drums. ;-D
