I studied with Dr Nick Sutton for 2 years through the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies ced courses. This text is by no means an easy read but it is probably the best exhaustive study of the religious sentiments expressed in the epic. Many have watched the tv series or know the story line but few have actually read the full text. This book is very important for us to further our understanding of the Bharata.
