陌生的憑弔者

奈義倖世，一個具有殺夫前科的女子，擺脫不了亡夫的靈魂糾纏，尾隨在靜人身後展開旅程。她渴求一輩子的愛情，是生命的最終答案，還是一場不存在的幻夢？
坂築巡子，靜人癌症未期的母親；坂築美汐，他未婚懷孕的妹妹。生與死的歷程，同時在一個家庭裡上演。

[Stilkraft]

Dispite its profound theme and premise, the resolution and 'twists' are quite shallow. Indeed there are several scenes that would trigger reader's emotions, but, in general, characters are not thoroughly developed so the motive of each character doesn't successfully make them realistic, especially Shizuto's and Sakuya's. Their motives are explained through different characters' eyes again and again, but it made me feel like I'm seeing author's struggle and uncertainty through these frequent and repetitious explanations.

Une note mitigée. J'ai trouvé le livre trop long et répétitif, sans avancée, sans que cela évolue, les rituels toujours décrits sont ennuyeux. Maintenant ça reste superbement écrit et touchant jusqu'au milieu du livre environ, et la fin est tout simplement superbe (et tellement pleine d'espoir, y compris dans l'agonie et la fin d'une vie).

Shizuto became depressed by the deaths of people around him and took a journey to visit places where people died and pray for them. While he's away for some years, his mother is dying of cancer.
I cannot empathize with him nor see his actions as honorable as the author intended.
He should care about his living family instead of dead strangers.

やっぱり私は天童荒太が一番好き。

死者を悼むために全国を巡っている主人公とガンに侵されている母、妊娠した妹。それぞれの登場人物が抱えている闇と想いがあり、その細かく正確な描写にどんどん引き込まれていく。生きること、死んで行くこと、遺された者のこと、、重いテーマとそれに向き合う登場人物たち。それぞれの角度から色々と考えさせられる、良い本でした。

読んでる間、気がつけば胸にギュッと抱きしめて歩く本がある。そんな本は読み終わった後も、胸から離れない。
