As the due date started to close in, I stopped believing I will receive an Allison Wells' review copy, but it arrived earlier in the month and I loved it! So, I'm doing its deserving review.
If you're looking for a short, lovely, wholesome, romantic story between two extraordinary characters, this is your book. Ashley isn't your average rich girl, and Tyrell is… a great man, a dream man. He is what all of us should be looking for in a partner. And what all of us should be, too.
Their story goes along their whole lives, even when they were apart, and here is true what they say about everything going worse before it gets better. But the things that are key to overcoming it… they do that. They stay together, and communicate, and prioritize. That's something that makes me like it even more.
The short this book is was a surprise, but every important detail is shown. The chapters are also short, and go back and forth between the two, which turns the experience in marvelous. You can make it last or eat it all up in an afternoon, but I suggest you… make it last 😉 It will taste better at the end.

Ashley was very obedient and came from money, her family was very rich! Tyrell is black and not rich but they did not concern themselves with what they felt was unimportant. Ashley and Tyrell were childhood sweethearts but due to interference from her family, especially her father they curtailed their relationship.
A few years later they meet again at a charity gala and both realise that they have unfinished business! Tyrell now has two gorgeous girls, twins, four years old and Ashley has a secret that she needs to share with Tyrell sooner rather than later. Story is clean, filled with anxiety and confusion, conflict, apprehension and hope. Nicely written. ❤️

Allison Wells did it again! Ashley and Tyrell is a quick wit, fast pace read. This novella is perfect to keep you entertained on a rainy afternoon.
