A dragon's desire will burn for a thousand years...

Timid Diana Winters doesn't get much excitement, until she goes for a hike in the woods and is attacked by the trees.

Like out of a fairytale nightmare they uproot themselves and go on the offensive, and she is chased through the forest before tumbling down a waterfall, only to wake up in the bed of the most gorgeous man she's ever seen, who claims to be a dragon lord, and her husband who killed her a thousand years ago on their wedding day!

Lord Azoth Dracamire vows to never have meant her any harm. Someone put a potion in his goblet on the day of their marriage, and he has paid for it every day since for a thousand years.

Although Diana struggles with the physical pull she feels towards him and Azoth's obvious lust for her, one thing is certain: someone sent those monsters after her in the forest, and they still want her dead. Now she must decide if her new and conflicting emotions towards her husband, a man she doesn't know, are worth risking her life.

This free novella was pretty good. I expected it to be a short story but it was a bit longer than I expected.

It starts off with a young painter by the name of Diana Winters. She veers off the regular hiking trail to get her perfect painting. When the forest around her seems to come alive she ends up falling off into a body of water and hitting her head. She wakes up in a man’s bed who claims to be her husband. Apparently he had killed her a thousand years ago on their wedding and he had been imprisoned there ever since. Apparently someone had poisoned him on their wedding causing him to change into his dragon and slaughter her family. He told her that she was the reincarnation of his deceased wife. Eventually her memories come slowly to her and she realizes that Azoth, the dragon lord, was telling the truth. She has to figure out her memories in order to get her and her husband out of the prison but also she has to figure out who the culprit was that poisoned her husband all those years ago. Find out how with the help of an old friend, they end up together.

I really enjoyed this book. It was fast paced, fun and steamy. I liked the water pit that he had in his cavern. I wish I had one of those. The magical components on the water restore you into your youth. I would recommend for a short easy read to anyone looking for a big, masculine male with hardships to read about.

It wasn't bad but I don't think I would recommend it.
It was a little chaotic at parts, particularly when Diana was regaining some of her memories.

Sex: 3 I like the first scene but the second was interrupted by a daydream, memory recall thing. And by the end of that chapter it was all but forgotten. The first sex scene the heroine could not remember due to a spell. I hear it was fantastic and we get a few references to it during the daydream sequence. I am not a big fan of day dream, memory sequences. I think they interrupt the story enough to jolt the read from the linear story.

Plot: 3 The plot is okay. With out giving too much away, the butler didn’t do it.

Overall Enjoyment: 3 I liked the heroine, she didn’t cower and cry when scared she saved herself in the beginning. The hero really does love her and will do anything for her but get in car. The sex scene was good, but the numerous dream sequences brought me out of my happy reading place too often. It’s a personal preference I think. Some readers don’t mind the dream cuts. Otherwise, it was a good book.

A nice little novella for a long bus ride home. The story was quite good. A modern artist is transported to another realm where she discovers a dragon lord - her husband - has been imprisoned for a thousand years after he was sentenced for killing her. The mystery of why she was living in the present, who he is, and where her memories have gone was well done. Bits and pieces revealed at appropriate times, a little misdirection, and a good conclusion.

The book though, could have benefitted from a good copy edit. There was at least one sentence that simply stopped halfway through, and some words that were used incorrectly (like sister's instead of sisters). I tend to be forgiving of mistakes like that, but not everyone is.

The only reason I didn't give the book 4 stars is that it is billed as a Hot Paranormal Romance. While there is a decent amount of sex in the book - Diana and her husband are doing it every ten pages or so, sometimes three or four times in rapid fire bursts, the sex is largely glossed over. Only once gets more than a passing few sentences. I expect a "Hot Paranormal Romance" to have more steamy sex and not simply references to how steamy the sex was.

A hot (dragon...haha) mess

After finishing the book, I felt like I had just wasted my time on this. I did not feel refreshed, uplifted, giddy, wishing for more, or excited to read the next. Forget all that good feeling crap you get with your happy endings. I didn't even burn with hatred for an inept story line, seethe with contempt for a stupid character. Nor did I rewrite the story in my head with how I thought things should've turned out. I had no feelings whatsoever in this book other than BLAH, and irritation of time wasted. I suppose it couldn't been a good story line with more work. But honestly, I don't think it's worth contemplating. It felt like a hot mess while reading this. I gave it two stars because it was a try, and it wasn't just loaded with graphic sex scenes.

This was a fast easy read with an interesting twist to the typical dragon romance. Diana is an art teacher out a day of painting surrounded by nature. When she is attacked by trees and transported to a world like nothing she has ever dreamed of, complete with a dragon husband.

The sex is hot while being vague and leaving much to your imagination. Azoth takes her back to a time when they ruled their own fates of the Fae Royal Court. Diana is left to discover who is her betrayer while rediscovering a love with Azoth that is stronger than nature and time itself.

There is a little bit of everything in this story, Fae, Dragons, time travel, ghosts, magic, and of course romance.

This was a very good book about Diana Winters who goes into the woods to paint, along the way she finds a beautiful dragon mirror. While she is setting up her easel she is attacked by the trees! What evil magic is this? She falls down a waterfall when she wakes up she in the bed of a man she thinks is crazy. Who is Lord Azoth Dracamire really? Is he really her groom from another place and if he is what did happen on her wedding day? Who sent the trees after her and is the evil closing in on them? I was gifted a copy for an honest review barwatts@telus.net

I thought it was a short-story but it actually turned out to be quite longer than expected. I am glad of that fact though because it worked well into giving the readers a more detailed view of the two main characters and their romance. Also, the information about each “being” and their history was detailed and interesting and the same could be said about the surroundings and the action taking place. It made for an interesting story, no doubt.

Sweet read!

I caught this book while it was free and glad that I did. I do wish it was a little longer. I'm always in search for good dragon or fae romances so to stumble on a book with both had me excited. Some parts of the book I did flip past because I thought it was too wordy and useless. I like the idea of the story and would purchase the next one just to see more on this couple.

The Princess' Dragon Lord

This was a free book.
I enjoyed the concept of the story, even with the switching between past and present the story was smooth and interesting. The characters were likeable, the romance felt rushed but it is a short story so not surprising. There were editing issues but it didn't distract me from the story. I have only given this three stars because I liked the read not loved it.

I have to admit I picked it up cause it was free but am very glad I did.

The author did a wonderful and tasteful job of giving you a great story. The romance and action were just perfect in the amounts. I saw some of the other reviews and wondered what was wrong with the people. It is a book of fiction not a term paper. I would heartily have purchased or tell people to read it. It was wonderful.

This was a wonderful story! The characters were exciting. The storyline was filled with wonder and magic. The passion was just right. I really loved how it didn't have a bunch of useless filler information that made the story confusing. I would love to read more on these characters and find out what happens for them next.

The book wasn't bad.Short story about a dragon shifter who thought he killed his wife until she shows up 1000 years later in his prison. Not a huge use of the plot potential, but it was a short story so not much depth could be created. There were several snap resolutions to make the story go faster. I really didn't get very invested in it

This was a novella, which always leaves me wanting more. I like the story of Diana who is being called a princess by Azoth, who is his dragon and he calls her his wife. I love reading dragon stories. The story did confuse me some, but that can also be to my not so great memory. I did like the characters and how they worked well together.
I do want to read more of Mandy Rosko.

Paranormal romance is a genre I've only recently come to appreciate, and this story is no exception.

A different twist on dragons, some well-placed amnesia, and a usurping uncle all within a well-written love story

Love the book. Even though it was a short story, it still gave a lot of details about the characters. I didn't want it to end. I will definitely have to check out other books by this author. I will totally recommend this book to my friends.

This was an unusual mix of the normal word and a hidden magical world. But i was hoping to see just a little bit more. More of what? Probably more of the actual memories coming to her? I'm not sure. It was just missing something. I am intrigued to read more by this author.

Great story, though a bit short. There was a lot to take in, since it is a different world, sort of, that part was confusing until we get to the end and find out that it was the past.

Again, too short.

This was an okay book. It kept me entertained and it was a quick read. I didn't really find anything all too exciting with this book. The characters were flat. The plot was very simple and predictable.

It was entertaining, but predictable. It wasn't anything special.

I was not a huge fan of this novel. The writing was not bad and the relationship between the characters was somewhat believable but I just found the whole premise a little fantastical with some overly convenient solutions at some points.

This book was JUST ok. The grammatical errors were really bad. It needs severe editing. There are extra and missing words all throughout the book and they sorely detract from being able to enjoy the story just for the story. I really can't recommend the book in this form.

Finding Love

This book is an enjoyable read for anyone who likes paranormal romance. It was interesting how the characters learned to trust and love each other. The ending was sort of a surprise.

Ummmm.....Let's just says I DIDN'T like how the story went. I had such HIGH HOPES!!! I thought the princess was like a reincarnation, but turns out she 'slipped through time' and lost her memory. It waan't even all that clever. Was not impressed

This is a great paranormol story. Just a little too short.

seemed a bit short. Could have done with a bit more body, a bit more history, perhaps more build up?
Still, good story!
