About the author

Derek Prince (1915-2003), was an International Bible teacher and founder of Derek Prince Ministries International, wrote more than fifty books.
He was born in India of British parents. Educated as a scholar of Greek and Latin at Eton College and Cambridge University, England, he held a Fellowship in Ancient and Modern Philosophy at King’s College. He also studied Hebrew and Aramaic, at Cambridge University and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. His daily radio broadcast, Derek Prince Legacy Radio, still reaches listeners around the world.

I read this book in Indonesian version. This book helps me more understand about the bible's very important role in our life. This book is very recommended for those who want to know why we have to follow Jesus.

This is a very comprehensive book about our foundational doctrines of living with Christ (Heb. 6:1-2). There were some topics that I wanted to more deeply understand, hence why I ordered this book.

Long story short, Foundational Truths for Christian Living more than answered these questions of mine-- it also deepened my understanding of Christianity and God. The volumes of truths and revelations in every section of the book are nothing short of amazing. Make no mistake, the teachings of the Bible put forth in this book are very solid. It was such a joy to read this book chapter by chapter, day by day, that I felt bittersweet when I reached the book's final pages.

Would recommend this book to every believer, especially one who wishes to dig deep into core beliefs and truths of our awesome God!

The title says it all. Prince uses the Bible as the model. This is for someone who has questions about the baptism of the Holy Spirit, supernatural gifts, tongues, and operation of the gifts in the Church. Even if they don't have questions, it is super helpful for every believer to truly know why and what they believe, specifically from the scriptures. It is sharp and simple, it provokes you for the more God has for you, in everyday life. Walking intimately with and empowered by the Holy Spirit, supernaturally.

Excellent self-study foundational book. I used it for a bible study group during the pandemic we all grew in leaps and bounds in the Word of God. If we disagreed with any of the principles, we'd research it and find that he was right on point. I'm grateful, for the opportunity for the in-depth study of the Word. It changed my perspective of baptism, the Holy Spirit and death.

This book is an absolute masterpiece. I fully intend to read it again right away and will make plans to read it once every year. I have not found a better teaching resource on sound biblical doctrine, and I highly doubt there is anything out there to rival Prince's greatest work.

Great good education.
It is the most in-depth textbook, on faith foundation. I ever read.
I hope and pray that this book will, should and must be reprinted.
All Christians should take the time, to sit by Jesus feet and examine the whole of this sublime educational work, that all the way through shows 100% humbleness,Glory and Respect for God's written and life Rewarding Word.
The whole book, is 100% based on giving a true and honest, and in to the bone gedigent piece of education in:
The Foundation of Faith / children learning.

4.5 stars. Deep, practical, and packed with truth. Excellent scholarship, yet presented in an eminently approachable way. This is a book to be digested slowly, but which sticks with you. Highly recommend it.
