Ug this series is finally done. I do NOT understand all of the good reviews this series got. There are English errors and misspellings all through the series as well as tons of punctuation errors that drove me nuts the whole time. What is with editors nowadays? Do they not read the books they are editing!? The IDEA for the series is good, which is why I gave it a shot and read all 3. But it's unnecessarily drawn out with details being way over-explained when the answers are already obvious. And the writing is almost painful. I don't know how many times the narration during conversations starts with "He shot her a look" "She threw him a look" and things like that. There are other phrases to keep conversations going and explain interactions between people. It's like this author is at high school level. All in all, I look at this as time wasted and still really shocked at all the good reviews. I suggest reading some series from excellent, talented authors like Pamela Clare, Darynda Jones, and Lisa Marie Rice.

There are books that are good, there are books that are great and then there is this series! This trilogy sets the bar so high others will have a hard time living up to this standard.
For starters I have to admit in the previous two books I wasn’t a huge fan of Quinn’s. Don’t get me wrong I didn’t dislike her ,but she wasn’t a favorite. I did have complete faith in this author after such superbly written books one and two that by the end of this book I would better understand Quinn. I am now a huge Quinn fan, as well as a huge Vickie Mckeehan fan.
The characters in this trilogy are so well crafted , each and every single one has so much personality you feel you can reach out and touch them. That goes for the bad guys as well as the good. The mystery and plot are multi-layered and delicious. The romance is perfectly written in a very sexy romantic way. This is a series about LOVE not just sex. Although the sex is really hot. Love is the foundation that this series is built upon. The love of three best girlfriends and the love of the heroes who fall for them. Their creed is “ Together we let no one hurt us .We are most powerful when we are one. We draw strength from each other. One. ” Their quest to end Evil is built upon love for one another and an overwhelming desire to make the world a better place.
This is without question one of the best series I have ever read. It will be hard for anything to live up to this entertaining trilogy, but I will certainly enjoy trying to find one. I highly recommend this to all who enjoy a feel good trilogy that will take you on the roller coaster ride of your life.

I never thought when I was given a copy of book #1 of this series Just Evil (The Evil Trilogy - Book One) that I would be grabbing my wallet in record time to buy the other two books in this riveting series of romance and revenge with a touch of paranormal.
This third and final installment in The Evil Trilogy is the culmination of the overarching events from the previous 2 books of the series but it is also the story of the growing romance between Quinn and Reese. As with the other books we see a growing romantic attraction between these two people but the question is how Quinn's life is tied to the greed and evil of the Boyd family and the equally evil Alana's real estate scams.
The author ties up all the loose ends (which at this point is primarily the violent Boyd brothers) in a very satisfying way. Part of the appeal of these stories is that while the women in the stories are obviously being helped by their individual "white knights" they are not helpless and play a huge part in their own individual salvation.
Bottom Line: This is a no-brainer if you have read the first two books in the series, this story while covering the romantic involvement of Reese and Quinn exposes more long held secrets and wraps up the story in a blazing finale that you cannot miss after reading about the horrible things that were done to build the Boyd empire. Justice will be served ...

Excellent book that wrapped up the trilogy beautifully. No questions were left unanswered and I loved that about this book and this trilogy which was a true trilogy that in order to get the full effect you have to read the books in order or else the books will be ruined.
McKeehan did use mouthy kiss again in this book which I hated in the series. I thought the term was over used and a bit childish for a romantic suspense book. It made me think of a child talking back to a parent and not a deep romantic kiss. It could be just me but in all three books the description was over used and for me it took away from the book. If I did not really like the story and the plot I would not have read further after the first time I kept seeing "mouthy kiss" repeated. lol.
I don't want to ruin the trilogy for anyone so I will just say that this is a great story with great characters that you really can get into because they are in all three books so they are a lot deeper then most trilogies are and that was a refreshing change. As I said before read the books in order and you will not be disappointed.

A great ending to a series! Like I suspected it would, the third and last book focuses on Quins story but the book still ties all the characters back together at the end revealing all the shocking secrets and missing pieces to the entire puzzle. A great ending and was so happy to see the evil finally ending! Bravo Vickie McKeehan!

I cannot praise this series enough. From the very first book to this last, I was spellbound. The three women, who were the core of each book, respectively, were amazing women. Their relationship/friendship, born in early childhood through one common albeit horrific element, was a beauty to behold. Each one held up the other during difficult periods in their lives. Each one supported the other, through thick and thin. Each one loved the other, unconditionally, no matter what occurred in their lives. As was echoed throughout all the books, they were stronger together, as one. It was that key point that kept them going forward and able to handle all the horrors that came and would come. It was amazing and a beautiful thing to watch as things began to unfold.
This last book wove all those puzzle pieces together into a complete, brilliant and intriguing tapestry. The secondary characters were just as memorable and enjoyable to read as the heroes and heroines. And, the villains? Oh my! They were about as bad as you can imagine. But, time and again, it was the relationship/friendship of the women involved, along with the story lines of each book, that kept me reading. And, did I mention the writing? Fantastic!
Yes, I highly recommend this series. You need to read ALL of them to fully appreciate the entire series. Keepers, one and all.

Oh what can I say but Bravo Vickie McKeehan!!!! Of the three book this is hands down the BEST!!! I just can not day enough about your writing. I have always been drawn to suspense and thrillers but you have taken and made it even more so a favorite of mine. In this review I ma not going to review to story as a whole as it is just way to hard to give away to many spoilers.
Each book had character focus, though still having all characters involved.
Just evil- Kit trying to move on from her traumatic childhood and clearing her name of the murder of her so called abusive mother, and the death of her actor father. Crossing paths with her High school crush {Jake} and falling in love with him all over again. All while being stalked and tormented by Cade.
Deeper Evil- Baylee having to keep her secret of Sarah's father {Conner} from her friends and from Conner himself. Finding out that Alana and Jessica murdered her mother and the fact that her drunken cruel father knew about it but said and did nothing about it. Meets Dylan her night and shinning armor who will do nothing but make sure her and her daughter are
safe.
Ending Evil- Quinn Finally faces her demons, comes to find out that the drug addict mother who raised her was not her Bio mom but only a cruel act at the hands of none other than Alan and Jessica. Finds out her father had not abandon her but is ready and willing to be in her life. Finally reveals her nightmares about Colin and lets her guard down to Reese.
All this with the help from a Stranger they finally punish The Boyd boys and reclaim their lives as their own no longer having to look over their shoulders and face even more pain and suffering at the hands of the second generation of Evil that has hidden in the shadows of their lives.
The bond that Kit, Baylee, and Quinn have shared since childhood is what has given them the strength and courage to face their demons head on and has allowed them to find trust and love in each other and in the men that have grabbed hold of their hearts.

They were the only real family each of them had. The evil that happens to them stems from the branches of the legal entity that is Boyd, Boyd, Geller & Getz. Their stories are interwoven and culminate in this, the last book of the trilogy.

Trevor Dane left the Medical Center as the LAPD hurried to lock it down. It seemed like his list was never-ending. Jessica. Eva. Alan. Frank. Now Connor. That left Cade and Collin and maybe even some cousins, before he could end the evil reign of Boyd, Boyd, Geller & Getz.
Quinn Tyler was a nurse at the Medical Center and wanted nothing more than to be a pediatrician. She had an overwhelming desire to care for all the babies in the world.
She was working in the ER when Connor Boyd was brought in. She helped work on him but to no avail. She heard his brother, Cade yelling and turned toward him. In his rage, he reached for her, but the cop held him back.
Reese Brennan was there to see his client, William Scott, Baylee's father. He'd been at the Boyd's all day, watching the police dig up human remains. One body they found was Sarah Moreland, Baylee's mother, another was Luc Delaine, Sarah's friend, the tennis player, but no one knew who the third body was.
Reese was hoping to get more information about the bodies from William and to see Quinn. He heard Cade screaming and yelling. He knew that Cade was a danger to Quinn, so he went to check it out. Cade kept screaming and yelling threats at her as he was drug away.
Reese loved arguing with Quinn. She had a sarcastic wit that he found very appealing. He couldn't help getting turned on just by thinking of her. Reese had a calmness about him that Quinn was also drawn to, but she wasn't happy about it, attracted to a lawyer of all things.
Quinn's father, Nick Tyler, was a famous rocker and singer tor the Irish band, Shatter. She had never had a relationship with him, everything was handled through his lawyers, thus her dislike and distrust of lawyers. Her mother, Ella Canyon, was a crack whore and flake, pretty much non-existent. As a kid, they had slept wherever they happened to be, whether it was a car, or a friend's house. Then Ella married Tyler's record producer and they moved to Beverly Hills.
Reese was best friends with Jake and Dylan. Quinn respected them, so she thought Reese couldn't be all bad. He was looking out for her, trying to get the detective to arrest Cade. To her, loyalty was one of the most important qualities a person could have.
Quinn got in trouble with Dr. Mendenhall, the chief of Emergency Surgery because of her past relationship with Cade. The family power of Boyd, Boyd, Geller and Getz carried a lot of weight and Dr. Mendenhall felt he had no choice but to suspend Quinn. She told Reese that if he got her reinstated, she would make it more than worth his while.
Mr. X was exacting his revenge. Reese finally voiced what they all thought, Mr. X was ending the evil, making sure it stopped now with the sons. No way were any of the six going to help the police catch him. He had saved their lives more than once.
When he had saved Sarah from Connor, he had left the gold cowboy in the shirt the baby had been wrapped in, but it was his own shirt. He had left DNA evidence for the first time.
Max St. John was there to question Baylee, Sarah's mother. Dylan was trying to protect her, he didn't want it known that Cade had claimed Connor was Sarah's father. Dan, Max St. John's partner, arrived. He had come from the Boyd's house and was telling Kit and Jake what was discovered.
As Baylee was getting ready to leave, Reese was wondering why Quinn didn't tell Kit and Baylee about Cade in the ER. She was very private but that didn't make sense. They were her best friends and they confided in each other.
She had told him her story of Cade. She was 19 and he had made her feel special. After a couple of months she gave in to his charm. She thought he loved her. One night, Cade thought she had laughed at him, so he beat her and choked her. She really thought he would kill her. She was saved by his cousin, Adam Getz. Cade knew she had never told anyone other than the police. Sumner, of Boyd, Boyd, Geller & Getz, had talked her into dropping the charges. She did, but she kept the restraining order and forced Cade to make a deposition to the police.
Connor was so drugged up, he was useless. Cade told him they couldn't just let it go. Quinn needed to pay. He blamed Quinn for everything, Quinn had had him arrested for domestic violence and he had never forgotten it. This was the last straw. He remembered what is was like, screwing her while he was choking her.
Cade and Collin were coming for Quinn. She wasn't home, but Cade jimmied the lock to her house. He unhooked the gas line, while Collin looked for a candle. Collin lit the candle, set it on the table and they hauled it out of there.
Trevor had their houses and cars bugged, but the cops were all over both. His only means of tracking them now, was their cell phones. He had been busy with Connor at the medical center and had lost track of the boys.
Quinn and Reese had fun making out in the parking lot. Reese knew he was going to spend the night with her. He was afraid for her and wasn't going to let her out of his sight until the Cade business was over. Just as they were arriving at her place, an explosion rocked her car, throwing debris. It was quickly followed by another blast, then another. Reese was sure he knew who set the fire.
Everyone (Kit and Jake, Baylee and Dylan, Quinn and Reese) were meeting at Crandall House. It was time to make their own plan for ending evil.
5 STARS - Would Buy It For Them (lol)
The "Evil" trilogy has been the highlight of my 2012 reading season. I have completely fallen in love with the story, the characters and the author, Vickie McKeehan.
The covers of the books have been awesome. The plots have been so detailed and captivating, that I found myself lost between the covers, not wanting the books to end. Every time I turned around, Vickie McKeehan had another suspenseful, nail-biting detail to add to the story.
The characters, well, you will either love them or hate them, but you will feel emotions from beginning to end. They went from disgusting and despicable, to chivalrous, courageous, admirable, loving and sexy. I love books where the characters affect the outcome, not just wait for someone to come and save them.
What would you do and how far would you go to protect and save the ones you love from an evil so horrible that even the police could not stop it?
The ending surprised me, I did not see it coming, but I loved every word of it.
Now that the Evil trilogy is over, I will be moving on to Promise Cove and the Pelican Pointe novels. I can hardly wait to dip my feet into another series of Vickie McKeehan's books, that I am sure will make me fall in love with an entirely new cast of characters who are screaming for my attention.
And now, I won't say goodbye to Kit and Jake, Baylee and Dylan, and Quinn and Reese, but see you later.

Reese was best friends with Jake and Dylan. Quinn respected them, so she thought Reese couldn't be all bad. He was looking out for her, trying to get the detective to arrest Cade. To her, loyalty was one of the most important qualities a person could have.
Quinn got in trouble with Dr. Mendenhall, the chief of Emergency Surgery because of her past relationship with Cade. The family power of Boyd, Boyd, Geller and Getz carried a lot of weight and Dr. Mendenhall felt he had no choice but to suspend Quinn. She told Reese that if he got her reinstated, she would make it more than worth his while.
Mr. X was exacting his revenge. Reese finally voiced what they all thought, Mr. X was ending the evil, making sure it stopped now with the sons. No way were any of the six going to help the police catch him. He had saved their lives more than once.
When he had saved Sarah from Connor, he had left the gold cowboy in the shirt the baby had been wrapped in, but it was his own shirt. He had left DNA evidence for the first time.
Max St. John was there to question Baylee, Sarah's mother. Dylan was trying to protect her, he didn't want it known that Cade had claimed Connor was Sarah's father. Dan, Max St. John's partner, arrived. He had come from the Boyd's house and was telling Kit and Jake what was discovered.
As Baylee was getting ready to leave, Reese was wondering why Quinn didn't tell Kit and Baylee about Cade in the ER. She was very private but that didn't make sense. They were her best friends and they confided in each other.
She had told him her story of Cade. She was 19 and he had made her feel special. After a couple of months she gave in to his charm. She thought he loved her. One night, Cade thought she had laughed at him, so he beat her and choked her. She really thought he would kill her. She was saved by his cousin, Adam Getz. Cade knew she had never told anyone other than the police. Sumner, of Boyd, Boyd, Geller & Getz, had talked her into dropping the charges. She did, but she kept the restraining order and forced Cade to make a deposition to the police.
Connor was so drugged up, he was useless. Cade told him they couldn't just let it go. Quinn needed to pay. He blamed Quinn for everything, Quinn had had him arrested for domestic violence and he had never forgotten it. This was the last straw. He remembered what is was like, screwing her while he was choking her.
Cade and Collin were coming for Quinn. She wasn't home, but Cade jimmied the lock to her house. He unhooked the gas line, while Collin looked for a candle. Collin lit the candle, set it on the table and they hauled it out of there.
Trevor had their houses and cars bugged, but the cops were all over both. His only means of tracking them now, was their cell phones. He had been busy with Connor at the medical center and had lost track of the boys.
Quinn and Reese had fun making out in the parking lot. Reese knew he was going to spend the night with her. He was afraid for her and wasn't going to let her out of his sight until the Cade business was over. Just as they were arriving at her place, an explosion rocked her car, throwing debris. It was quickly followed by another blast, then another. Reese was sure he knew who set the fire.
Everyone (Kit and Jake, Baylee and Dylan, Quinn and Reese) were meeting at Crandall House. It was time to make their own plan for ending evil.

The "Evil" trilogy has been the highlight of my 2012 reading season. I have completely fallen in love with the story, the characters and the author, Vickie McKeehan.
The covers of the books have been awesome. The plots have been so detailed and captivating, that I found myself lost between the covers, not wanting the books to end. Every time I turned around, Vickie McKeehan had another suspenseful, nail-biting detail to add to the story.
The characters, well, you will either love them or hate them, but you will feel emotions from beginning to end. They went from disgusting and despicable, to chivalrous, courageous, admirable, loving and sexy. I love books where the characters affect the outcome, not just wait for someone to come and save them.
What would you do and how far would you go to protect and save the ones you love from an evil so horrible that even the police could not stop it?
The ending surprised me, I did not see it coming, but I loved every word of it.
Now that the Evil trilogy is over, I will be moving on to Promise Cove and the Pelican Pointe novels. I can hardly wait to dip my feet into another series of Vickie McKeehan's books, that I am sure will make me fall in love with an entirely new cast of characters who are screaming for my attention.
And now, I won't say goodbye to Kit and Jake, Baylee and Dylan, and Quinn and Reese, but see you later.

Even with the errata, I loved this series! I loved that I couldn't figure out all of it, and I loved that it ENDED! By that I mean that I loved that it didn't just stop--it had an ending that made sense and tied up all the loose ends! I absolutely hate it when a book doesn't really finish, but leaves you hanging, although I would love to see where these couples go next. A sequel would not be shunned...at least not by this reader!

Get reAdy for a reading marathon!
I got the first book of this series, Just Evil, as a daily deal or something. I never once thought that it would grab my attention like it did. Don't attempt to read these out of order, because they are not stand alone books. These stories offer something for everyone, including mystery, romance, and a really good story of betrayal, lies, murder, and lastly, forgiveness. Do yourself a favor and curl up one cold weekend on the couch to enjoy these three novels.

Wow! This series led us through the layers of pure evil -- lies, manipulation, blackmail, abuse, murder, greed, and any of the 7 deadly sins I didn't mention -- to hope, redemption, justice, and love.
This is the 3rd series by Vickie McKeehan that I've read and recommend - Pelican Pointe, Indigo Brothers, and now Evil Secrets. I'd held off on the "bones" series as I thought it might be a bit dark, but with "evil" that ship has sailed... and blown up.

‘Ending Evil’ was the best book in the series for me. Each girl’s storyline ended with questions from the other books answered. The reveal of the evil that had changed each ones life was shocking and made page turning reading. Author, Vickie McKeehan gave each a feel good ending that was actually each ones beginning of life filled with real family and love. A shocking goodread that will hold a readers interest till the perfect end.

I loved this story from the first sentence in book 1! I read all three books in record time. I didn't want the story to end. I would recommend this Trilogy to any and all who would like to read an entertaining, fast paced story with lots of twist. Thank you Vickie McKeehan for a very enjoyable set of books.

Wonderful way to end a trilogy.
I have to say that I really enjoyed the last book in this trilogy. I think it was very descriptive and had several great heart stopping moments. I like the way that each couple came together to overcome so many obstacles to be together. Very well written story. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read.

The best 3 books ever!!!
Again this is a new author I found. I love romantic suspense and these 3 books were the best I have read in awhile. She had such a great plot And the 3 books just flowed from one to the next til the last one they will had cliffhangers but they were awesome. I need her to write more book like these!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I couldn't wait to get to the next book. exciting, suspenseful, a bit gory. Highly recommend this to anyo n e who enjoys suspence. looking for another McKeehan book to read.

I absolutely loved all 3 books! I feel like I can put Alana and Jessica out of my life now as well as her boys! 😂 I was overjoyed to see all the happiness that came put in this book!

Have just finished this series & I am amazed at the story lines. When I started book 1 i couldn't stop reading until I finished book 3. Great job Vickie Mckeehan

Great series
Love the series. I missed a lot of sleep with this series, just could not put the book down at night. All three books are so exciting, and the end of book three is very satisfying!

Great finish.
Nice end to a good trilogy....A little sweet and sentimental but all in all it tied up all the loose ends of the other books. Managed to reveal plot twists and leave it on a happy note.

Great read.
The Evil Secrets Trilogy is a must read in sequence. The story goes from shocking to evil to mushy to more evil to great conclusion. Whew!
