Interesting, though I frankly expected something a bit more Hunger Games or Divergent. While I get that the cadets were/ are an investment for Star Force, it is also obvious that the stakes should have been higher for training if they are already so high in the real war to come. I'm thinking about ditching hte prequels for the main sequence of books. Probably after #8.
