Solid information and a good introduction to public school finance. In the end; however, it is still a textbook.

Solid book about school finance, budgeting, and accounting. It doesn't read like a gripping spy thriller, but I didn't expect it to. It taught me stuff I didn't previously know, so I feel like reading it was a win.
