Four Clocks

James Hampton

They are four clocks, each one a portal to the finest of our yesterdays: bridges to lost loves and absent children; to vanished dreams and exhausted youth; to lives we once knew and yearn to live again. As we access the power of these clocks, so do they access our hearts, fashioning whole worlds from the raw stuff of our wishes and memories. Four people in a small Southern town are about to discover what these machines can do. But they will also find themselves targets: unready marks of a criminal who knows well the clocks' abilities...and their potential for destruction.
