Hide ‘N Seek was the first book that I’ve read by this author and it had everything that I was looking for in a romantic suspense novel. It had just enough suspense and romance and it definitely kept me guessing to the very end. Markie is looking for her sister but she cannot find her and doesn’t know what has happened to her. In the process of looking for her sister that is when she meets Dalton Beck, you can immediately see some chemistry between the both of them. They both work together to find out what happened to her sister and to find out who is behind everything at his company. There are a lot of twists and turns and I loved it. I am looking forward to reading the next book.

I enjoyed the fast paced plot of this read and the fact that it was a tough no non-sense type of heroine. I also liked the cover for this book!!! The character depth, to me, could have been better, and the storyline as well as ending was pretty easily preditable and quite cliché. I do very much appreciate this being offered as a freebie. I would most likely check out more of this writers work in the future.

I must say this was a good read. Really didn't know what to expect since I've never read any of Yvonne's work. After reading, I really couldn't stand Melanie. But after finding out what she went through to cause everything, I blame the parents. I'm glad Markie finally stopped being afraid and followed her heart with Dalton. Letting go of her past finally paid off.

First time reading this author and love this debut romantic suspense novel. It's a page-turner with enough suspense, romance, and intrigue to keep it interesting. Marklynn is looking for her missing sister, Sydney, and when a clue leads her to Dalton, she wants to learn what happens to her sister and fights their attraction at first. Meanwhile, Dalton suspects Sydney is behind the hacking of his computer's system and he will do everything to stop the culprit even if it means losing Marklynn. The story goes smoothly and I could hardly put it down. Highly recommended for romantic suspense fans!

I really enjoyed this book.

I found it very easy to read and enjoyed the balance between the romance and suspense aspects.

The mystery part of the plot was complex enough to keep guessing; I enjoyed the red herrings.

My feelings for the characters changed through the book as we learned more about them which added to my enjoyment of this story.

I have added 'Cat n Mouse' and 'Hit n Run' to my Amazon wish list.

This had the makings of a terrific book. It reminded me of the Harlequin Intrigue series, in that it was about equal parts well-crafted thriller and sensuous (not pornographic) sweet romance.

So why only four stars? Well ...

I have done some freelance copy-editing in the past, most recently in December 2016, and my tolerance for misspelled or misused words, missing or misplaced punctuation, and missing quotes is close to zero. This is a good book, but it could have been better with a little attention. Bottom line: though I enjoyed this book, I won't be rushing to read the others in the series.

4.5 STARS!

Marklynn Brooks and her sister Sydney were left in the care of their Nan from an early age, and Markie has always been the responsible older sister.

When Sydney makes arrangements to meet Markie for lunch, and doesn’t show, Markie finds Sydney’s house trashed and no sign of her sister. But what she does find is two intruders, one firing bullets, and the other going head to head with her while the sparks fly.

Markie tracks down the second man to Beck Security and discovers that he is the CEO, Dalton Beck and that he was meant to meet Sydney to view some photographs that she captured recently showing members from his firm in a compromising position, especially considering the customers he has been losing recently as his company takes hits from what appears to be an inside job.

Beck gets Markie and her team of PI’s on the case in the hope they can discover who is behind the sabotage at his company, while also trying his best to get Markie as part of his happily ever after.

This book takes you on a fast paced journey as Markie tries to get her sister back, whilst battling feelings from her past fiancé that make her keep Beck at a distance. I loved Beck and his determination in all areas from his business to his feelings. He is a wonderful main man.

The twist near the end that reveals the culprit is completely unpredictable and the conclusion leaves you on edge.

A great read!

The story is intriguing, sometimes pacy, but too predictable. Well, perhaps that's the point of romance, but when it's a well known fact that Yvonne writes stories with a happy ending, there is no point of reading because after all the ending will be happy, with the two main characters together and my mind won't be blown off with a 'I didn't see that coming....'

Wow. Picked up a completely random book and it turned out to be really good. This was the kind of surprise I really like!

Hide 'N Seek is entertaining both when it comes to suspense and when it comes to the romance. The suspense was well thought and even though it wasn't difficult to figure it out, it was still captivating. I must say I really liked the characters. Sharp and intelligent people, they were described in a wonderful manner making them difficult not to like. Anyway, I suggest everyone reading my review just grab their ereaders and see for themselves. :)

This book had the potential to be a good suspense read. BUT the author ruined it for me by including several detailed intimacy scenes. It only received a 2 because of the decent plot. I normally would have stopped reading when I hit the first racy scene with TMI, but I actually wanted to find out who was behind the hacking and had kidnapped Marklynn's sister.

Definitely would not recommend for those who prefer clean reads.

I found this book VERY predictable. I got to page 79 or so and the whole plot came into plain view. I then scanned through everything, not really reading. The ONLY reason why I rated this as 3 stars is because of the twist of it not being who I thought it was that was wreaking all this havoc. Not gonna spoil it for any potential readers. BEWARE, though, it is very very VERY predictable. All the way down to the epilogue. If you take the plunge, you'll see what I mean.

Geez, If I ever go missing, I sure hope my sister spends more time trying to find me, not herself.
Picked this book up as a freebie from Amazon. Have to say, I felt this story was very predictable and at times found myself asking, didn't I already read that? Every emotion was analyzed over and over ad nauseam. Besides the poor, missing sister and her abductor, I never grew to care about the main characters. The ending had me rolling my eyes.

An amazingly good book. I picked this book mainly because of the strong female main charcter and that it was free on kindle. It hooked me fron the first chapters and kept me guessing to the very last page with so many mysteries to answer and plot twists it was so gripping i read it in one day. There is a good balance between the clean romance and the action of finding sydney.

the story was pretty good and plausible. Their behaviour between each other was not ...... and not to tell him that the murder is waiting in her sisters appartment, brushing your teeth, washing your face, checking make up and taking all the time to react is just silly ! and NOT believeable ! Try again ......;-)

Loved the chemistry and interaction between Dalton and Marklynn. They kept me entertained thru-out the book. First book for me by this author but definitely won't be the last.
