This a theological look at the behind the scenes spiritual evolution of Adolf Hitler and the relevant nature and affects of the occult in Nazism.

This was very intriguing book I was able to obtain from my late grandmother’s library. The book gives great detail into the spiritual awakening of Adolf Hitler and his embrace of the occult. Mr. Carr is able to document his opinion rather intelligently and precisely the influence and pervasive reach of the occult inside the rise and fall of the 3rd Reich. He ties the work of the occult to the Holocaust itself and does a very convincing job. I was impressed by his ability to bring the gospel message out in a very clear way as well. He is able to establish the fact that Hitler is not at all Jewish, a misnomer that has survived the decades only to be realized as a false perception.

I read this book in 1985 when it was first published. I remember that I found it quite interesting back then, but since that time I have studied World War II and Germany in greater depth. Consequently, I found Carr's material more revealing than I did in 1985. Why? Because in the past 39-years research has provided even more information and evidence of the connection between Hitler, Himmler, and the Nazis with the occult.

However, what is greatly disturbing is the ever-increasing number of people who deny the Holocaust, and the burgeoning number of individuals who display the Nazi salute and glorify Hitler. 79-years after the end of World War II, we live in a world where people are deceived about the evils of the Nazi's.

Yes, Carr's book is 39-years old, but it contains information and insight about the Nazi's, Hitler, Himmler, their minions, the connection with the occult and their evil, demonic schemes to destroy the Jewish people and control the world.

Occasionally I'll read a book written from a perspective radically different than my own. Thus I once read a sympathetic biography of Vidkun Quisling and have read some of Goebbel's diaries. This particular book is written by a fundamentalist Christian. Normally, I couldn't handle such a psychotic belief system (unless, of course, the text was hundreds of years old), but the topic of this particular book, i.e. the occult beliefs of the Nazi leadership, was enough to overcome initial reluctance. Perhaps it would be like the book I read by an Adventist academic about mid-nineteenth century religious movements in the United States. That turned out to be interesting: an Adventist dealing with Mormons! Well, it wasn't. The standards here were low, very low and the arguments weak, very weak.
