Warrior's Vengeance

I read this book after I'd already read the second in the series and I enjoyed this one even more!
Warrior's vengeance was very well written, a complete page turner and most important of all... HOT HOT HOT. Ian is the ultimate alpha male with a ridiculous amount of raw passion. Marissa is strong, smart and has a will of steel. I really admire her spirit and determination. Likeable characters make all the differnce in my enjoyment of a book and Gianna Simone has created characters I adore, even when I want to scream at their pig-headedness (that's a word). The historical setting of this book sets it apart from the usual contemprary BDSM romance and makes Marissa's situation both believable and great fun to read.
Non-con is not everyone's cup of tea but this story certainly hit the spot for me. One of the better abduction stories I've read recently, I'm quickly becoming a huge fan of Gianna Simone!

I found this a hard book to read. It was the treatment Marissa endured at the hands of Ian that I found hard to deal with. I don't know, I've read many Bdsm books and didn't have the same reaction as I did to 'Warrior's Vengeance'. I think it is a sign of the high quality of Ms Simone's writing that is the cause. It felt all too real to me. What I like most about this book is its strong storyline. I have found a lot of erotic books are all about sex and the number of different ways to do it. Most have very little in the way of plot. With this book, in my opinion, the sex is secondary to the story which centers around revenge and the reasons for it.
I hovered between a 4 & 5 rating and decided on the higher in the end. It's strange I disliked some of what I read but felt compelled to continue reading until the end.
Even though I found it a hard book to read, I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a romance which is not light and fluffy.

I received this book from the touring host for an honest review.
Abducted from her home in England, Marissa found herself at the mercy of two Scots clansmen with a taste for debauching sex. Right from the start she was treated as a slave with no rights of her own; at the mercy of Ian MacCallum and his friend Jamie. The more he wanted to humiliate her the more she showed that she would not be broken.
The one dark and unforgiving, removing all her defenses as he took her as his own. The other kinder, more romantic that touched her in ways she could not imagine and soon this English rose was deflowered and used as their personal toy.
Ian MacCallum wanted revenge for his wife and son, who was brutally murdered two years ago, with the rest of their clan. Staying with his mother's clan he and Jamie planned to take revenge on the Panther, a well known English earl.
When Marissa fell into their hands, plans changed and we read how this feisty woman stood tall and strong before these men and the rest of the clan, fighting her way through while believing that her father was no villain. To proof it she had to go to great lengths to do so and at the end her tenacity and conviction paid off. But not the way these three thought it would.
I loved how the author let it come together as secrets and mysteries are revealed.
A story that hooks you because of the human emotions at play as minds and hearts are changed.
And the sex?
Good gracious, how she kept up the demanding pace between them I had no idea, but it went on for hours, days, weeks without stopping; that she was not in a state of slumber all the time is just above my thinking. That she could even function on a daily basis doing her slave chorus either was plainly stupid or she was really this strong. But they were relentless in mastering her every time they could, not holding back as they teach her what they like while bringing her to the peak of arousal and back time and again. Just a look good cause her to submit to their hands doing whatever they wanted as long as she could have them.
Overall an entertaining read with a good plot.

really hot story. The story is great I just don't like Ian.
The hero stays a total-ass to the end in my opinion. He's a real coward when he meets her father. He should have spoken to him and apologized don't cower after her and waiting to be forgiven due to her love for him, and her father's love for her. Instead of apologizing and begging for forgiveness, he just sends her back to her father, like her future will be alright now she's ruined. Also no regrets about missing her.
I missed the taking of the collar, the change of treatment in daily life toward her (to en equal loving partner) and how their situation would be exepted by everyone.
The clan of his mother was also left out of the picture in the end

Good book . when the daughter of the panther is kidnapped by her father enemies to get venagance for the death of his wife and son. While trying to teach who is in charge he learns she is a fiery one and know how wield a sword like a man. Maybe he should keep her or not.

Enjoyed. When kidnapped Marie whom can wield a sword like a man and has no talent in women stuff learns the role between man and women. Good book very steamy indeed . Series is good so far this author has a very creative mind and writes her characters very good

A very exciting book from the start.
I loved this book, not for the faint of heart. It grabbed me in the 1st chapter. My only complaint is that I didn't like the ending. Like it cut the last chapter.
