Jo Clark was tired of her day job and knew her skills and passions lied elsewhere. So she started a business. If people asked, her goal was to inspire women to be fully themselves. What she did was give curious and straight women an hour of sex, or whatever else they fancied. But mostly sex. Jo didn’t care what their reason was for responding to her ad. She loved to fuck and this gave her plenty of opportunities. In this compilation Jo encounters a woman who wants to get back at her unfaithful husband, a virgin, a woman still grieving the loss of her partner five years later and one who has newly realized she's bisexual and whose boyfriend thinks it hot that she sleep with a woman. When one of these women throws Jo off her game, can she recover?
Sam Kestrel writes lesbian erotica, romance and mystery. Sam is a quiet, behind-the-scenes kind of gal and she can't actually believe that with this pen name, she had the guts to start writing erotica. Just another lesson in the universe having other ideas when we're off making plans. In her other life she writes children's books and figures that it's best to keep these pen names separate. Think of her as writing for the entire family. She has something for almost everyone! Her writing journey started on Medium where she began with short stories of 2k words or less. But now she wants to write more complicated characters and stories and is shifting into longer works that will allow her to do that. Through her newsletter and website, samkestrel.com, Sam hopes to connect with her readers. She really wants you to drop her a line. No kidding. And newsletter subscribers get a free epilogue to Working From Home, a short story not available anywhere else.
Jo has 4 very different encounters in this book. They are all good and so hot. My favorites are stories 1&3. I thought for sure Jo was going to be exposed by the end. This series keeps getting better.
More new hot, sexy encounters for Jo, but this time with a twist or two. Best book in the series so far (of the three I've read), which shows some consequences of Jo's new lifestyle and opens up the over-arching story.
Working From Home 3: Lesfic, FF, First time (Supporting the Queer Needs of Straight Women Three Steamy Stories Plus One) Sam Kestrel The continuing tale of Jo Clark. The book begins with entertaining clients as is the norm for the series. The client Avery becomes more interested. It takes us on path B. I know there is a book 4 so that will be my next read. I enjoyed all the characters and the premise of the story. I expected something totally different from book 3 so the author took me off guard and changed the direction. I can't wait to read more. At first, I was upset all of this is not in one long novel. The more I read the better I like it is not. As a full novel, the similarities of the story may have become boring. They are not so if you started keep reading. I do have one concern that should have popped up at first glance but something in book three set off the feeling. How safe is the situation Jo has created for herself? 4+ stars I will give it a 5
Jo is questioning herself and her business. I love her communication and consent and safe space. And she meets Avery! To be honest, I started the Working form Home series because of the new release with Avery. They are all quite enjoyable so far and keep getting better in my opinion. At this point we didn’t really know Jo’s background but we do see her character growing. The author writes amazing spice as well as interesting and engaging stories, even in these short ones.
3 stars. My least favorite thus far but that’s because it wasn’t as sexy as the first two. Also, the last story was so dull and the ending was anticlimactic and abrupt but I know that Jo and Avery’s relationship will be explored more in the next one so I’ll get around to that one eventually.
Jo continues to help mostly curious straight women have an enjoyable sexual experience with another woman in these hot, well written short encounters. Though sometimes, as in this volume, her clients aren't always straight or wanting sex. And one woman impacts Jo in ways she doesn't quite understand and she is left with doubts and questions.
