Young educated man leaves rich estate in Maryland in 1777 to journey to Kaintuckee to look over his father's land. His adventures along the way make up this story. If you are a champion of young love the ending will put a big lump in your throat. Plenty of action. Recommended to anyone who likes frontier stories.
