Bailey just wanted something a little different than a night with friends who drank too much and guys who were way too young for her.
When she arrived home from work Halloween weekend and found the large box wrapped in a bright red ribbon on her doorstep, she wasn't sure what to believe. But one thing was certain: it was going to be a very different kind of weekend for her.
I like writing. I don't have a magic place where the stories or people arrive, other then when I'm asleep, they appear, like movies. Some are simple romances; some involve a messed up family life; some involve outside influences and business and still others might trail along the paranormal or BDSM path.
You just never know.
I'm sorry the covers don't appear here and I'm trying to figure out how to make them show with the titles.
Otherwise, they are on Allromanceebooks.com; smashwords, amazon.com & Nook - they were on bookstrand, but we won't vent on that topic at the moment.
On Allromanceebooks, you can read the 1st chapter of each.
For the people who enjoy my writing and read the stories:
Circle of Friends is the mildest of my stories. There is less harsh swearing or harsh use of words with regards to sex. There is sex - but it's not as graphic.
WindSwept Narrows: Does have more harsh swear words and more graphic language, both during sex and just in life. It's a more honest depiction of reality, I think.
The 'regular' shifter stories - graphic and fun.
The Menage stories - please...they are graphic. Period.
Independence: Again...it's BDSM based and quite graphic.
I loved it. What a terrific read. The first of the series called Independence. That is the thin rail these folks move about on. The Dominant man trying to teach the sub who is struggling with not giving up control to her Dom while he comes to terms with someone he wants in his life full time...or maybe not.
How does a subordinate woman remain a self sufficient, modern woman and submit to her Dom without becoming completely dependent. Where is that fine line where a woman can still be herself and also give up her control as she desires to do? How does a Dominate who is used to his life disconnected from his subs not dissolve as a Dom as he starts to have feelings for her? Watching these two figure it out was alot of fun.
In this case the author wove into that plot a murder story where someone was killing girls and it was somehow connected to Gabe and Bailey. A girl keeps dropping dead every time she and Gabe spend time at the club. And she is not sure who to trust.
I've already read book 2 and that was equally fantastic. I recommend this novel. Is it the same as Masters of Shadowlands as I have mentioned in the threads? Not exactly, but certainly reminiscent of it and alot of fun to read while we wait for books in that series to be released.

The synopsis doesn't do this book justice. This book has romance, a little mystery and light BDSM. Bailey receives a package on her doorstep inviting her to explore and open her senses. A mousey, shy IT geek Bailey doesn't explore much. She meets Gabriel and well let's just say they take a journey together. Gabriel doesn't do relationships, but after meeting Bailey he isn't sure why his protective instinct kicks in. He introduces her to BDSM and as she learns there are quite a few twists, turns and surprises which were unexpected. I read this book a few days ago and have read a couple of more since but I can't get this one off my mind. I really liked the combination of so many different types of books into one great package.
