A pleasant short mystery. Even though I wasn't aware it was from a series when I checked it out of the library, I didn't find the characters confusing (though there was obvious history), and I enjoyed the fast-paced murder mystery.

its quite short but just as trilling. i would of liked to know the back story of what the flash drive held. i do think its a little cliché that Sam was there at the right moment to see the special agent in the bathroom, and that they boarded the ship in which the bad guys were. but ig that's what makes a detective story. Poor them, even on a cruise they can never catch a break.

Really enjoyed this short "Women of Justice" ebook! It was great getting to see a little bit more of Samantha and Connor's life.

For a short book, the suspense was good. A few things seemed unrealistic to me. I wish Gone in a Flash would have been a bit longer, but overall it was a good read and I enjoyed it a lot. :)

This was a very short E-book. I had a little trouble trying to remember how all the characters fit together. I wish it would have been longer but it was nice to see these characters again.

Full of action for such a short read. Ended way too soon.

A short little novella. I liked the quick paced action. And it held my attention. It was fun to "go back to the beginning" so-to-speak. And see the Wolfe family a few years down the road. It's only 50ish pages long. And in the e-book version the next almost 40 pages are excerpts from other books.

My only problem with this book, is the same problem I had with the rest of the books in this series. Explain what happens that the end, please. I get that the MCs get their happy endings. And I really appreciate that and the happiness after the suspense and scary. But I also like knowing what happened and why? Why did Drake Walker try to take Jenna? What was on the flash drive? Why were two men willing to kill for it? It sounded like they were referring to at least another person. Where are they? What is their role?
This novella specifically seems like Eason was maybe setting up for another book. But this came out in 2012. So either she was, and she scrapped it. Or she wasn't and it was just following the same pattern as the other books, in not wrapping everything up.

TW: death/killing, kidnapping, attempted murder. Mostly just suspense with this one.

This was a really quick read for me and honestly, I enjoyed it. I feel like it kept a steady, but quick pace and it was a page turner for me. It was an interesting take on a cruise ship crime and I liked the adrenaline pumping "What will happen next" feel to it. Furthermore, I read the Women of Justice series before this so I was already attached to these characters and felt for them throughout this short story. I mean, they were just trying to have a peaceful family vacation!

Also, just wanted to mention that "That's what you get for making my son cry" is my favorite line and that entire scene MAKES this short story!

This is a short little novella that takes place after the events of all three Women of Justice books, and features Samantha and Connor from book one. I had forgotten how much I liked this series, and it was so nice to be back with these characters again.

For such a short story, this really packed a huge punch. The sense of urgency was there from the very beginning, and this was just non-stop action. I highly enjoyed this!

Suspenseful, quick read

I may never go on a cruise again! Murder, a missing body, and drug thugs on a luxury cruise ship do not make for a relaxing vacation. Cooperation among the ship's security staff, A vacationing detective, his semi-retired FBI agent, and the FBI itself leads to solving the crime. This has enough action to keep the pages turning. 😁

Nice short

Quick fast reading short to end the series. I enjoyed it but would have loved to have more of the characters from the other books in here. I want to know what Jamie had and if Kit had a baby too!

Connor and Samantha Wolfe are finally taking their family on a much-deserved getaway aboard a luxurious cruise ship. Unfortunately, crime doesn't take a vacation. Both are trained officers, who know what to do when their young son is kidnapped.

Mystery wrapped up quickly

Short novella. Despite very bad men trying to kill kids to find their answers, they are quickly apprehended on a cruise ship. Almost too quickly if you are expecting a nicel

Larry and I listened to it while driving - it was fast paced. Every moment one crisis was fixed another popped up. It was a short story but very intense and entertaining.

Great short

This was a great short. Enjoyed Connor & Samantha again., A get-a-way isn’t always as relaxing as planned. God does use us where we’re at.

Good and fast paved

A quick read in two hours. Plot is a little predictable, and the 3 year old sounds a bit mature, but other than it's worth the time.
