William Alan Finn was an American composer and lyricist. He was best known for his musicals, which include Falsettos, for which he won the 1992 Tony Awards for Best Original Score and Best Book of a Musical, A New Brain (1998), and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (2005).

I Love This Show, Part 1
I recently listened to the 2016 revival of Falsettos and you all should too, it's an amazing show and among my favorite musicals. While it's true that the show doesn't have quite the same impact without the music, the story really gets to me and it has some of my favorite characters of all time in it.
