Three men who’ve given up on love find it in the most unexpected place.
A rough cowboy, a sassy spitfire, and a bartender—they sound like the start of a joke, but there’s nothing funny about the way Carlos feels when a sexy spitfire of a man blows him a kiss.
Carlos came down to Texas from the Mossy Glenn Ranch in Montana to deliver some bad news to his former boss Nick. Just one problem, his GPS unit is a lying POS. It keeps having him drive in circles and nagging him to turn in impossible places.
Then a man blows him a kiss, and reawakens a part of him Carlos thought was dead and gone. He’s a middle aged cowboy, tired and unemployed, yet when he stops for directions and sees the sexy spitfire getting jacked off by one very handsome, stacked bartender, it’s a jolt to his libido.
When Will and Troy invite him to play and make it clear they aren’t a couple, they’re just strangers like he is to them, Carlos just can’t resist.
But each of them have secrets, pain and desires, needs and hopes. Will is hated by most the town residents, Troy can’t accept his own needs, and Carlos has let his past control him for almost two decades. Can they find what they need together and in themselves? Is such a thing possible?
Reader Advisory: This book contains light BDSM, bondage, spankings
I am a married mom of four who spends most of the day writing, either on stories or at the blog. I love to write as much as I love to read. I am generally quiet and laid back, choosing to let things slide off me rather than stick and irritate me.
And it's really hard trying to think of descriptives for myself, so I'll just let y'all e-mail me or comment at the blog if there's something specific you'd like to know, and spare you from reading a boring bio:D
While I haven't read the previous books in this series yet, I wanted to read this one since it's the precursor to the 'Mossy Glenn Ranch' series, which is next on my list. There are some references to what happened before this story, but they are all well explained so that this volume stands pretty well on its own. And quite the hot story it is! With three men, who are total strangers, and quite some animosity against one of them coming from the people in the Texas town it's set in, the events definitely had my attention and I now look forward to an entire series with these men!
Carlos is a rough cowboy on the outside, and a dominant man, who occasionally turns into a teddy bear, on the inside. Life hasn't been easy for him, but he is a fighter, even when his now ex-boss assaults him and fires him for wanting to know why the ranch is about to go under. He does the right thing and travels to Texas to let her children know about the problem, only to run into not one, but two hot men who turn out to be as interested in him as he is in them.
Troy is a bartender at The Xxchange and he may not be looking for love, but when Carlos and Will turn up in his life, how can he resist? It starts wit super hot sex in all kinds of more and less public places, but when the emotions deepen, Troy is tempted to ask for what he really needs - only it takes him a long time to get there.
Will, a PI, is the least complicated of the three on the surface, but he has some very dark secrets and has suffered tremendous emotional and physical abuse from his family. Some issues come up in this book, but I suspect there may be more to be revealed in the upcoming sequels. Will's biggest issue here is being seen as "manly" (a stupid notion his awful father has planted in his head), so he has the most trouble admitting his emotions. Physically, he is the most forward of the three, but opening up his heart is another matter.
With how different these three men are in what they want and need, this was an interesting first glimpse at how they might make a menage work. It looks as though they have what it takes - love and determination - but I am sure here will be a few rough patches in their future.
If you like menages and watching three strong, independent men come together, if you enjoy a bit of kink and lots of heat in your romances, and if you're looking for a hot read with interesting characters who still have some issues to sort out, then you will probably like this novel.

This is book nine in Bailey Bradford's series 'Love in Xxchange', but it also is the springboard for the author's new series titled 'Mossy Glenn Ranch'. I really enjoy a well rounded ménage story and when I was faced with the thought of a cowboy, a bartender, and a snarky spitfire, I knew I had to read this! Carlos is a cowboy lost in Texas, Troy is a bartender at Xxchange, and Will is a private investigator. These three coming together is supremely hot, and the pun was most definitely intended.
Carlos has driven to Texas from the Mossy Glenn Ranch in Montana to locate the owner's son, Nick, to let him know how bad off his momma's business is and that she's probably going to lose it and her home. The GPS is making him crazy so he stops at The Xxchange to see if he can get directions. You could've knocked him over with a feather when he walks into the bar and sees the adorable guy who blew him a kiss earlier, was getting a handjob from the bartender. Wow, sexy! The three of them end up doing a very nice ménage, Carlos gets his directions and heads out telling Will and Troy he might see them later.
Will thinks he's just hit the jackpot finding gorgeous, hunky bartender, Troy, and sexy, older cowboy, Carlos. Will has been stuck in this tiny town on assignment, and has, apparently, annoyed most of the residents, one way or another. In fact, they downright hate him because of the guy Will was hired to check up on is beloved by everyone. Will is gorgeous, very upbeat, not afraid to ask for what he wants, and definitely not afraid to say what he thinks; of course he's also got a mean, nasty family, and some scars from abuse, literally, hiding in his past.
Troy is the bartender at The Xxchange and when he spots the gorgeous, effervescent guy walk in, it's no wonder he ends up practically screwing him on top of the bar. When Carlos joins in, well, Troy has some secret yearnings even he is surprised to discover. Troy is a top and submits to no man. Somehow, though, Carlos brings out all these desires Troy wasn't even aware of and it scares Troy, a little.
Troy and Carlos get a touch overprotective when people try to tell them to stay away from Will. The three men have a night to remember at Troy's and the next morning Carlos knows he wants to try a relationship with both men, and after discussing it, they agree to try the three of them all together. It was wonderful watching them get their bearings in this new environment. Seeing all three of them caring for each other, emotionally as well as physically, was truly amazing. I thought the writing surrounding the intimate, and not just sexual, parts of their burgeoning relationship was done very well.
Nick, his half-siblings and their partners figure out a way to buy Mossy Glenn Ranch and they ask Carlos if he and his men would be willing to work it for them. After some discussion they decide to move to Montana together and work on building a life. I really liked this book and I'm looking forward to their first story set at the ranch in Montana. The author wrote a good, solid story with very likable characters, and a whole lot of sex. As far as I'm concerned, that's the recipe for greatness!

If you want a storyline to pull you in with detailed characters and a slowly evolving relationship, do not read this book. This was a f... fest. Pure and simple. Which was hot as hell, no question about that. The problem is that although just the name of the series imply just this, the book still tried to tell a story. And that didn't work out so well with the story taking the backseat to the sex on nearly every page. I also had a bit difficulty accepting Will as an adult, he came across more like a bratty teenager. I'll probably still have a peak at the Mossy Glenn series to see the guys on the ranch because, well, cowboys.
I thought the book was good. A little to much sex for me but had an interesting plot with two of the three main characters finding their selves sexually. But the ending is to be desired. Its the last book in the series so she could hve atleast told us how Will, Carlos, and Troy faired with everything. To me she left the issue with Will's family unresolved. I jus think she could have added more for the ending. But it was a good read. When you get to the end you will understand better what I mean.
I have loved this series. And I have followed Troy since his entrance in Xavier's and Chase's book. And wanted Will to have a happy ending. The sex is hot, but the love between the three men was the attraction in the book. This series was my first visit into m/m world, and I think Bailey mastered it brilliantly.
Review Written for http://mmgoodbookreviews.wordpress.com/ Warning: this does have a ménage, and some bondage and spankings. This is book 9 of the Love in Xxchange series. I am going to admit this is my first in this particular series. I wanted to read it because I have been reading the Mossy Glenn Ranch series and this book is where the main characters, Will, Troy and Carlos meet. I absolutely love Bailey Bradford and loved the Mossy Glenn series. Will is one of my all-time favourite characters, another reason I wanted ot read this particular book but more on that in a minute. I will say I plan to read this entire series also since the other characters seem to be quite interesting as well. So I do suggest you read the series in order then be sure to jump in the Mossy Glenn series as well. In this book Will, Carlos, and Troy meet. I found the way they met adorable. Carlos is zooming along the road from Montana, to talk to his friend about the Mossy Glenn and is already upset for the goings on there. A cutie in a mini cooper passes him and blows him a kiss. Carlos is also lost from the directions of his GPS and pulls into a bar for a drink, to calm down and get directions to his friends ranch. He walks in on a sexy bartender and a twink getting it on, on the bar. Then he realizes the twink is the guy that blew him a kiss. The three end up in the storage room. It just gets better from there. I absolutely love Baileys writing style. The author really knows how to paint a picture with words. I loved how she described Carlos from Will’s view. He simply thought Marlboro man. That was all I needed to absolutely visualize Carlos. Now Will is a whole new story and you get his picture throughout this story as well as he seems to grow in the next series. I absolutely love will. He s painted as a small guy, with very feminine features. As a matter of fact when he first went past Carlos, Carlos thought he was a girl until he saw him better. At first you think of Wll as a twink. He is fun-loving, sexy, and very campy. But he is not what he appears. He is very strong, knows what he wants, how to get it and uses his campiness however he needs. I think that is what I like best about him is that he is not the usual character. He isn’t tall dark and handsome or an Alpha male, he is the opposite but don’t let him fool you. He can hold his own. I love that this story is a bit complicated. It is a western with cowboys, yet it also has drama, and it deals with a ménage and though it has lots of sex it still stays interesting as well. If you like a great series, bartenders, cops, ménage, bondage cowboys, drama, and lots of hot mansex this is for you!
Too much sex. However! This was still really good – surprisingly so.
Despite the massive focus on sex, I do like the dynamics the three of them work out between them. That’s especially interesting since they have a strong BDSM thing going in and a lot of authors mess that up or simply make it unappealing to me. No so here. It really, really worked, up to the point where it touched me and made me happy. Sure, complications are kept to a minimum overall, but that is one of the nice parts about this series. For the most part it’s a huge, fluffy mush fest, brimming with reassurance. And sex. Mustn’t forget that.
To my surprise (again) each of the guys turned out to be endearing in his own way. Yes, even Will. They all had their issues and difficulties as well, but not in the same way or on the same level. No danger of mixing anyone up in this triad (as so often happens in hasty ménage stories). The way the narrative almost rigidly kept circling through all viewpoints also did a lot to bring all of them closer as people.
Then the sex, because, yes, it has to be mentioned, being such a huge part of this story. I liked the interactions there especially. Not necessarily what they did (although that was fine with me, too) but the way I really got the feeling that it was always the three of them, not two getting lost in each other while the third waited nearby, or like a twosome with some extra positions. Even when only two of them were actually physically interacting, it invariably felt as though they were all part of it. My memory might be fuzzy but among the few ménage stories that truly worked for me, I am thinking this one may have gotten the three-way connection across best.
Sure, I could complain about grammar again or editing or whatever, maybe even about the unlikeliness of some things (although sexually I am fairly certain that the author brushed up on what’s possible over the course of the series because some of those bits have become a lot less improbable) – but why would I complain when this was just a very cute, happy story? Better yet, one that promises to have a follow-up. Since, yes, as Carlos acknowledged, there’s still a lot open in regard to Will’s family.
Okay. One complaint. When Will first mentions his family, he states his parents have five sons, no girls. Later he’s got only one brother and the rest are sisters. That’s sort of a biggie, given his sisters’ impact on his life and even this story. Oh well.
This book started off like a bad bar joke: "A twink, a bear, and a daddy walk into a bar..." Well the bear, Troy, was already in the bar when the twink and daddy, Will and Carlos respectively, show up. Literally within minutes of meeting each other, they're going at in the back room all hot and heavy.
I'm not going lie, the sex was hot. However, they legit just met each before having porn sex in the storage room. There was even a pretend to get to know you phase. It pretty much set the tone for the rest of the book: sex scenes strung together by a flimsy plot.
I read the first two books in the series and skipped to this one because I was in the mood for an m/m/m. I guess in a sense I got what I wanted, but toward the end I started skipping over the sex scenes. A conflict would arise and quickly resolved so that the MCs could have more sex and I was just over it. I found that I was carrying less and less about what new heights they could take their sexual encounters and was skipping all the detail to end of them.
I did like that the three of them had very distinct personalities. You could tell them apart and which roles they filled in the relationship. I wasn't particularly fond of Will, because even though he was, in fact, an adult I had hard time figuring out if he was 25 or 12. Twinks in general are not my fave to read about because they're too childlike and impish for my taste. But I liked how Will, was so fiercely protective and headstrong.
I also like the parts of the story that had nothing to do with their bedroom antics. However, there was a lot of info dumping toward the end. Also by the end a lot of the characters from the previous books started to overpower their story. I didn't really care about Annabelle's pregnancy or the mother showing up or the fight that ensued.
I hope that we'll get to see more of Troy, Carlos and Will getting settled into their new life in another book or series. The ending didn't give much away, which hopefully means there's potential to develop their relationship a bit more outside of the bedroom once the honeymoon stage is over.
This book met my expectations of what I was intending to get out of it. 2.5 out 5 stars.
This book was really a 3.5 star rating for me, but I enjoyed it enough that I rounded it up to 4 stars.
I enjoyed getting to know the three MCs, Will, Troy and Carlos. The three men were very different and complimented each other nicely. The characters had emotional depth, inner conflict and backstories that made them quite charming and relatable. Make no mistake though, this 3 way relationship was ruled by sex. The sex was frequent and plentiful. The heat index between the three men was off the charts. They were insatiable and never denied themselves, barely holding back even in mixed company. The sex scenes were hot, kinky and quite imaginative.
The main issue I had with the book was that I felt that it was entirely too long. The Kindle Edition, which is the one I read, was 285 pages long. The content did not justify the length. Though the sex scenes were hot, I would hazard a guess that these scenes made up about 50% of the book's content. Being quite the libidinous creature myself, I'm never one to say that a book has too much sex. However, I felt like the balance here was off a bit. I feel that a more complex plot and more insight into the hearts and minds of the MCs were needed to keep me fully invested in a book of this length. I liked the MCs but I didn't love them. When I'm enamored with the MCs, a lengthy book enhances rather than detracts from my reading experience. I also feel that if a reader establishes a more intimate connection with the MCs, it makes the sex scenes that much hotter.
I recommend this book for fans of M/M Romance who like their books down and dirty. This book offers gratuitous, explicit and bold sexual scenarios between 3 hot men with a healthy dose of kink thrown in. However, I do feel that the book would have been a bit more palatable had it been 100 pages lighter.
so first a quick synopsis of the storyline. Will, carlos and troy all meet up one night in a bar.One hot session together and they are hooked, each have their own demons locked inside themselves and perhaps the three together will chase those demons away. I must say this book was just amazing, its a menage but dont let that put you off its absolutly fantastic. The characters I fell in love with instantly. Will is a flirt sassy to the umpth degree and cant get enough sex.I loved his character. He was cute and a smart ass , but deep inside there is a man who just wants to be loved so very much.Just to be wanted by someone for who he is.I loved the way he was always chasing either of the other two mens tails ,, got a love a man who goes after what he wants and will play any trick to get it. Troy the next character is a big burly bartender hot as hell looks intimidating but really has a submissive side, but is afraid to show it because of the way he looks hes always been told hes gotta be the one in charge cause he looks the part. Hes one of those big burly types that needs to be huggged. And last but not least , Carlos , a cowboy who has a need to do the right thing always doing right by everyone and forgetting his own needs. Carlos is a hot to handle dom , he likes to rope more than the cattle.Put the three men together and you have a mix of pure dynamite. They totally combust in a heap of passion , but the love is true strong and the one thing that will clear old demons and face a fresh future together. Amazingly told, makes you laugh , cry and sigh with contentment all the way through..Dont miss this little gem, you will fall in love with the three men like I did...wish I knew a will ,,,,,,
This was the last book in this series (so far?) and unfortunately my least favorite. While all the books in this series were ++ on the sex scenes Where There's A Will seemed to exceed them all. I was happy to see Troy get his man...men and Will tugged at my heartstrings, his family however tugged at my WTF is the matter with you button. I really, really wanted to kick his sisters backside, but she was a product of her environment which from all indications was less than nurturing and while I can't say that I didn't like Carlos, I just developed no affinity for him. Overall I really enjoyed this series, but I'm not sure that given a second go round I wouldn't take a pass on this one.
This is actually the first book that I have read in this series and I must say it was better than I expected, though not the best. I just wanted a little more background on Will and also I wanted to see Carlos and Troy talking to Will about his past. The story ended rather abruptly without any warning or climax. I was hoping for a confrontation between Will's lovers and his dad. So it did disappoint me in aspects. And another thing is that there was too much of other characters. Yeah, I get they are all part of this series but I wanted to read about three specific people. I wanted to know their story without others stealing the light.
I'm not usually keen to read ménage books but I love this series...
That being said...I really loved this book! Will, Troy and Carlos are fantastic together. They each have there own issues from the past but they come together and the result is great emotionally and physically This is some of the best sex scenes I've read.
Reread: almost too much sex. Like barely any character development because there’s so much sex. Still what I skip to to have a break from the timeline mess in the previous 3 books.
