Naughty illustrations written with a deft and light touch - a hilarious parody of the "Little Golden Books" I used to read as a kid - who knew firemen, policemen and auto mechanics could get up to such mischief?

Delightfully cheeky, utterly fabulous!

Maurice Vellekoop’s ABC Book: A Homoerotic Primer is a glorious romp through gay male archetypes, with a charmingly tongue-in-cheek tone and dazzling illustrations that ooze style and wit. Each letter brings a new stereotype to life, from the suave sophistication of Opera Singers to the rugged allure of Truckers, all while celebrating the diversity and vibrancy of queer male culture.

The artwork is lush, playful, and brimming with personality—each page feels like an invitation to a delightful little inside joke. While the humor is cheeky, there's also a sense of affection and respect for the subcultures and identities being highlighted.

This book isn’t just a collection of naughty archetypes; it’s a celebration of queer joy, sexuality, and community. Perfect for flipping through with a glass of wine or sharing a laugh with friends, it’s a must-have for anyone with a sense of humor and a love for queer art.

Highly recommend for fans of camp, art, and a good dose of homoerotic mischief!
