I'm reading and old copy of this mind-blowing book by Sondra Ray. How to Be Chic Fabulous, and Live Forever is about immortality and even though the Bible talks about immortality, I gave little thought to the idea that I might actually be able to live for as long as I want or need to in this Earth suit. But this topic (along with ascension into a light body) has been on my mind recently. You know what is said quite often since the Law of Attraction has become a household term: "What you think about comes about." I had this book on my Amazon wish list. The next thing I knew someone gave me a copy!

I believe that immortality is possible. But I also realize how deeply ingrained the mindset of death is. It will take some major undoing of patterns that support what the author calls the "death urge."

Sondra's book actually makes good sense! It's about why our bodies die when they really don't have to. The human DNA is programmed to renew cells constantly. Thus, sickness and death are agreements mankind made way back in history. We continue to uphold these agreements today.

Many people these days are experiencing panic attacks. These are a result of our fear of death--we believe we must die. Sondra says to stop believing that you will get sick and start focusing on strengthening your "life urge. Begin to put a conscious effort into creating a joyful life that you love and affirm perfect health through your mental power.

Although this book was first published in 1990 and has since gone out of print, the message is very pertinent now as we are experiencing an awakening to our true selves and divine creative power. The shift we are in the midst of as we approach 2012 is causing us to cast off victim-hood mindset and fear-based, limiting beliefs that no longer serve us--they never served us or our highest good. Religion and society have brainwashed us into thinking we are helpless victims. The truth is we are powerful creators. However, most people have been creating by default rather than on purpose. It's time to take control of your life. Start by renewing your mind with uplifting material that challenges your old beliefs, beliefs that while "tried" are not always "true."
