“SHORE OF THE DYING LIGHT,” Part Four The surface of Earth is home to strange new life, but there is something else, something familiar... something forgotten.

With Stel missing from issue 14, we see more of her story here, but not a lot. Earth is drawn with bright colors, and there is a scene where beauty may not be as it appears.
This issue also resolves the cliffhanger of the previous issue, and not in a very satisfying manner. As much as I want to root for them, the two Caine sisters are not exactly protagonist material, and as frustrating as the things that happen to them are, their own actions are equally frustrating. For this reason issue 14 leaves a little bit of a sour note.
