Another one I browsed during my trip to the Central Library downtown to see the reference books of authors I'm reading all of. This book had a librarian's note at the beginning that said it was a Suspended book (meaning no one else in the system was allowed to purchase that book) and that it had "ill-advised attempts at humor." Poor Allard. I liked it. Pretty silly and not his best, but definitely good.

My all-time favourite book as a child, the theme and language in Allard's tale are quite obscure and quirky.

I liked this quirky, but endearing mystery about ice cream. Wondering what they mystery is? Read it and find out :)
