Psychology is a subject that can inspire students; the opportunity to conduct individual research can be rewarding. This book shows students that research methods and data analysis can be interesting and helps students understand why the subject is important.
I used this to teach my research methods module last term. Quite a good book. I think it explains some complex topics in layman's terms quite well. It has been a few months since I read it, but I think there might have been one or two minor errors, I may be wrong about that. I may be misremembering, but I think their formula for calculating Cohen's D was wrong, it was a different effect size formula.
