I used this to teach my research methods module last term. Quite a good book. I think it explains some complex topics in layman's terms quite well. It has been a few months since I read it, but I think there might have been one or two minor errors, I may be wrong about that. I may be misremembering, but I think their formula for calculating Cohen's D was wrong, it was a different effect size formula.
