I spend a lot of time in the Angeles National Forest, so I figured I'd learn something about its history, flora and fauna. This is a basic book, probably a good place to begin. Mr. Nyerges covers all the basics, but not very in depth.
He does have the odd suggestion to add a little apple cider vinegar to your water if you are hiking in the heat 🤔. Maybe I'll try that some time. Who knows if it will work, I've certainly never read it anywhere else.
