The sequel to "I take thee Serenity". LOVE LOVE LOVE these books. I could read them over and over and over again. I may just have to try and find them. There is a bookstore in NYC that can find hard to find books....I think I will be e-mailing them! :)

I read this some 20 years ago and I do still remember this book. So that says something.

Loved this Reader's Digest Condensed Book and have held on to it. Wanted to release it to others so I re-read it again. Enjoyed the settled life of an older widowed Quaker farmer. Valued the settling the mind and resting with God.
Author has another book I'd like to maybe read sometime about this main character's grandmother, Serenity.

I have read this book before, but enjoy coming back to it. I read on someone else's page that it is a sequel to "I Take Thee Serenity" and now I must read that one. These people are so charming, and the book leaves me with a peaceful feeling.

Gentle romance of the older set, with a nice introduction to Quakerism.

This was a great story. Oliver Otis and his wife Daphne are Quakers living at Firbank Farm. This is a sequel to I Take thee Serenity. Great book.

A nice love story between a 79 year old Quaker widower and a 72 year old non Quaker widow. Both have family's.
