John Constantine’s first new adventure comes to a harrowing conclusion when he and Georgiana come face to face with a supernatural serial killer. The conclusion of this vicious mystery will shake the Hellblazer to the very core of his filthy little soul.
Ming Doyle was born in 1984 to an Irish-American sailor and a Chinese-Canadian librarian. Constantine and an old friend confront the Ghost Killer in dramatic fashion!
I must say that this issue pays off all the set up from the first four issues. Sure, it brings the main story to a conclusion, but the true payoff is completely emotional. The journey that John has taken down memory lane ends here in a tremendous wreck! As usual, Constantine really does the right thing, but what's the cost to him personally and seeing how he manipulates the situation really makes him the extraordinary "wanker" that he is.
I won't give away the end here, but it certainly sits with you a while.
I officially give up on this one. I do not understand how a character so good can be so boring to me here. There's always a couple of scenes that are interesting in every issue, but I shouldn't feel like I'm forcing myself to read something just to get to that interesting scene.
