I didn't think I would actually enjoy this book since I always have a hard time with classics. But man, this was so good. Dark, thoughtful, beautiful. I don't know why I haven't picked it up sooner but I'm glad I did now. Definitely a book that will keep me thinking for a while.

The plot: Dorian Gray's portrait shows his sins and years, as he remains pure and ageless to the world.
The subtext: You can hide your skeletons in your closet, but ultimately, you still know they're there.
the verdict: Beautifully written, very entertaining and solid.

enjoying initial part where Wilde's wicked sense of humor makes me laugh almost every page
