The Riddler has seized control of Central City. If The Flash moves, he’ll put everyone he loves in mortal danger. To save the city—and himself—he’ll need help from the unlikeliest of allies.
Van Jensen is the acclaimed author of the award-winning GODFALL trilogy (Grand Central). The sci-fi/thriller genre mashup series is in development for TV with Academy Award winner Ron Howard attached to direct and Jensen serving as executive producer.
Jensen was born and raised in the farm country of Western Nebraska where he wrote and drew stories as soon as he could hold a pencil. He became a newspaper crime reporter, then a magazine editor, and eventually an author of comic books and graphic novels. He has written some of the world’s biggest characters, including James Bond, Godzilla, and The Flash, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern for DC Comics. His original graphic novels include ARCA (IDW), Two Dead (Simon & Schuster/Gallery 13), Two Dead (Dark Horse), and Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer (Top Shelf/IDW).
I was really scared that The Flash was gonna get killed by the Riddler, but he eventually got away.It was really awesome to see The Flash and the Rogue team up to defeat The Riddler. It was also sad to see the Trickster nearly kill himself to let his friend Heat Wave escape from a machine that uses his power to explode the Central City.At the end it was happy to see The Flash and the Rogue kinda bring peace to each other.
With his identity exposed, Flash is about to be executed by the Riddler. Only the timely intervention of some friends and enemies might be able to save him!
This was a nice, big, bombastic conclusion to the storyline and the series. It felt like a TV show finale chock full of guest stars and action sequences. I’m pleased with the ending and it was definitely one of the better conclusions to a New 52 book. Many others limped to the last issue with fillers, so it’s nice to see another title go out with a bang!
I enjoyed this series pretty much from the get-go - something I looked forward to every issue. The ending didn’t disappoint.
Kudos to Jesus Marino for providing a New 52 variant tribute to Francis Manipul!
