The author takes a familiar, biblical character, King David, and relates his historical and spiritual journey to our own contemporary experiences. The frank and vivid lessons are strewn together into a coherent and compassionate admonition for the building of our own character, for the expression of our own gifts, and for the perpetuation of our significance into the coming generations.

A very good book that talks about how to live an eternally significant life. The author primarily used the life of David as a very good example of a victorious life which left a legacy until now. It provides a lot of insights on how I can evaluate my life and practical things I can do.
