We’ve been abducted by hot aliens while on the job. Working overtime led to my twin sister and me being abducted, and we aren’t sure who to sue .
Most twins share a unique bond. Some can hear each other’s thoughts. Others are able to sense one another’s feelings. But my sister and me? We share the same fate... Being abducted by aliens. At least they’re insanely sexy aliens.
With M.J. Marstens writing in Astra’s POV, and Sedona Ashe writing in Cress’s POV, things are bound to be a wild ride! This laugh-out-loud alien romance will have you drooling over hot aliens, laughing, and falling in love with a new kind of sci-fi romance. Aliens so hot you might end up with a sunburn just from reading? Check. Unexpected special equipment? Check. Lots of steam and chaos? You bet!
D.T.G.P. (Down To Get Probed) is the first book in an exciting new series that follows the Jade sisters’ intergalactic travels. After being abducted, each twin is claimed by a different set of alien mates. Each book in the series will feature an abduction of a different set of sisters from the Jade family, and their journey through the stars to find their mates.
I didn't think I was in a book slump but maybe I am? I don't know. Maybe I just don't appreciate the humor? But I don't find it funny. Not that I would enjoy the dark angle of alien kidnapping any better. I avoid those books like the plague. Ugh. But this was supposed to be a lighthearted, twins fighting back, ha ha, sci-fi romance. Instead it starts out with hum drum, devolves into tears, panic and dick jokes. Then devolves further when the aliens, who just stated they didn't care about their feelings, say they're sorry to 1 sister but have to give the other away because of some treaty? Ick. Then they acknowledge the pain this causes her, then stated again, they don't care about her feelings because they already bought and own her. Gross. Elevated and advanced beings, my tush. Then it just completely loses it and falls into fart jokes, threats of breeding and I gave up after that because I value the brain cells I have left. Am I just getting old? I didn't think so but apparently I've hit fuddy duddy stage because this just was torturously twisted d*ck and fart jokes and a rude dismissal of feelings for the women that they want to bear them offspring. I hope they keep them away from pointy or sharp objects. Not that the sisters fought back in any way. Whatsoever. All that bragging about how they would and they just cried as they were separated and moaned about it instead of planning. Even in a funny way. It didn't have to be serious and dark. Just not...this. Also, 2 sisters, several mates each, the POV just keeps bouncing around. They should have gotten separate books, er, novellas- because hardly anyone writes a decent length book anymore. It got muddied quick. And I have the feeling that there are more d*ck and fart jokes coming because there are 12 sisters in total.
Why Choose 👽 Mates Fancy, multiple, and unique 🍆 Tail Action MMF FMMM (I think that's the right one) Fated Mates Twin Sisters Abducted from earth Funny nicknames Dual POVS
This was a hilariously fun read. I enjoyed the way the 2 sisters talked to each other and the funny nicknames they came up with for their Mates.
What the men can do with their peens was definitely shocking 😳 I was not expecting that at all! It was still hilarious to read and definitely made for an interesting little tidbit.
I'm definitely looking forward to the next one, I'm curious as to how many of the 12 sisters will get kidnapped and get an alien mate or mates.
D.T.G.P. WAS SUCH A FUN READ. OMG!!! I looove MJ Marstens and Sedona Ashe! They are such a unique pairing....that I NEVER would have expected to pair up...but glad they did. Cressida and Astra, I swear these two were amazing. We basically had a 2 in 1 romance arc and I have never read that before. Definitely can't wait for more!!!
I enjoyed reading this book. It's funny and interesting what happens to these sisters when they encounter the aliens. Each one has a different experience with them, but find themselves something that they didn't know they needed
This book right hereeee! It did it ALL for me. Sassy heroines? ✅ Alien love interests? ✅ Fated mates? ✅ Humor? ✅ World building? ✅ Reverse Harem? ✅ Different personalities? ✅ Unique 🍆? ✅✅✅
This was the first time I’ve read a dual POV that contained separate stories running in tandem with one another, and I absolutely LOVED it.
D.T.G.P. (laughed at what this stands for, btw) follows along the alien kidnapping of twins Astra and Cressida, and how they were kidnapped very specifically to breed with two separate alien races - Squamata (lizard-like aliens) and Qhovrir (scorpion-like aliens) - from the planet Relkoi. After a particularly bad sun flare, the aliens of Relkoi not only experienced issues with the planet’s ecosystem, but most beings were made infertile causing both races to suffer greatly and their numbers to dwindle. They’ve found their refuge in the Jade twins as there is something in their DNA that makes them very fertile and compatible with many alien species.
I genuinely could not have enjoyed this read any more than I did - as I was reading I was leaving voice notes to a friend about pieces of it that had me genuinely laughing. The Squamata love interests, Zax and Moztyx, having their “dictionary” they reference for understanding Astra as the Urban Dictionary was probably one of the highlights of this read for me. For their title and level of intelligence, they were such goofy characters to read about and it was an absolute joy.
Even more, I absolutely adored the balance between Cressida and her three men - Quulkieds (aka Blueberry), Qox’its, and Qhaikiel. Qox’its was so understanding and patient with her, Qhaikiel was a bit of comic relief and just so, very flirty, but my main man, my little crush, Blueberry, boyyyyy. I have a thing for a good grump and man, oh man, did he fit that. His temper rivaled my own (which is no small feat), and when he finally claimed Cressida as his? I am unashamed to admit I’ve read that part in the story about five times already. I couldn’t love him more, especially when he brought her the kitten. *swoon*
Absolutely loved this book, will definitely re-read, and could possibly cry over this taking almost a year to have a sequel in the series 😭😭😭
10000/10 recommend.
P.S. thank you for the ARC!! *I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.*
I read the first half of this book in the Take Me To Your Reader anthology. I enjoyed it enough that I had to go get this book so I could find out how the story had ended. It was nice that it also happened to be on my TBR list so it was another that I was able to remove from the list. 😆😆😆
This is advertised as a laugh out loud book... I can't say that happened with me. Although I did smile at a couple of the corny jokes in the book. I have to say that sweet romances aren't my jam. My reading preferences tend to run much darker. There just isn't usually enough going on in a sweet romance to keep my interest.
Interestingly enough... this book had enough going on between Astra and her mates to keep my interest high in what was going to happen between them. I also found myself a bit disappointed in how quickly Astra forgave her mates... but then again it was a relatively short story so not a lot could be done with the length of this book.
I have to say... I think I would have liked it more if the stories had each gotten their own books instead of combining the 2 sisters stories into one book. It also strikes me that Cress's story in this book was perfect for her... but I feel like Astra's story needed to be darker. Her story just didn't set right with me. Not to say she couldn't eventually get her HEA... just a lot of things in her story leaned more towards the darker side and would have been better and more well rounded if the author had followed that lead instead of trying to keep it light and funny.
I think I will give the next book in the series a try and see how well I like it.
I am stoked and shock to find out two amazing authors came together to write this masterful piece and I cannot wait to read more about the Jade sisters. I devoured this book in one sitting because I was beyond entertained. I was laughing and thinking wow this whit and banter is making my night! Astra and Cress are so likable and their alien mates are not anything like I read before. Let me tell you you get a plot, you get steam, but I would have to say the one liners are epic! I was debating between a 4 or 5 star review because of the edging this book does to me. It will keep you on your toes and not make you want to put it down. There are many reasons for this, but the sisters alternate chapters which takes you for two stories in one. It is a different style I am not accustomed to and it will take me time to adjust. I think because this was the biggest hurtle for me to overcome, I rounded up to a 5 because there is way too much good. It is SOOO delicious and deliciously funny, that I cannot wait until the next one is out with this popular duo! So, if you are Down To Get Probed read this...and if you want a lover that quotes some naughty website sayings and classical songs...this book is for you. Heck this book is for everyone who need steam and a laugh!
DTGP, or Down To Get Probed, is an alien reverse harem romance that follows twin sisters Astra and Cressida Jade as they get kidnapped by aliens one evening. They are soon split up between rival groups of aliens, each going to opposite sides of their kidnappers' planet. Astra is taken by the leaders of the technologically advanced lizard-man aliens and Cress is taken by the leaders of the more caveman-esque scorpion-like aliens.
The book is told from the alternating perspectives of Astra and Cress and the alien men don't get any POV chapters or sections. It follows a fairly cliche plot, but also calls it out and laughs at it. It's almost like a parody of an alien romance novel rather than taking itself too seriously. There wasn't very much world building beyond what was necessary to justify why human women were needed to continue the species.
I really feel like chapters from the guys' POV would have helped bring context and life into the characters. It's not that it's a bad book. It's actually hilarious and a light read perfect for a single day. Maybe a day by the pool or on the beach. If you're not looking for too much plot and really just want a spicy alien romance with hilarious FMCs, then you'll like this book!
I should not have been surprised by how much I loved this book. From the minds of Sedona Ashe and M.J. Marstens comes this hilarious space abduction story.
Astra and Cress are fraternal twins who, one night, get abducted by aliens. Yes, you heard me right one moment they're contemplating keeping a trash panda as a pet. The next, they're on a spaceship. From there, it's 2 separate stories going on at the same time. Astra is taken by 2 aliens to one side on a desert planet. Cress is taken by 3 aliens to the other side. The aliens have a peace treaty but don't like or trust one another. From there, both women must come to terms with their new lives.
I'm telling you right now I've been a fan of both authors, and now that they've teamed up, I'm reading everything under this new pen name. I absolutely devoured this book! I started it this morning and could not put it down. The twins were hilarious. The smutty scenes were 🔥. I love the backstory to why the twins were taken and what the next books will hold. I will say that when it was mentioned how many siblings in total they had, I kept thinking that's a LOT of kids. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!
I actually really enjoyed that book and will probably reread it. I know it’s not realistic how fast the two female characters give in after being abducted but hey this is fiction and the book is quite short so nobody has time to be fighting for too long I guess lol. So below are the things I likes about it: - We get two female main characters (two for one yay!) and they’re both super funny - Conversations between aliens and humans are hilarious! It’s full of misunderstandings because of the culture clash. I almost spilled my drink when the aliens thought Cress had intestinal issues because of her facial expression - If you ignore the kidnapping and macho assertions, the aliens are kind of sweet ( they panick when Astra starts crying because it means she’s in distress) - Big plus, the aliens look alien. No offense to writers but I’m kinda sick of alien stories where the aliens look human. - Lastly, the sexy scenes are S P I CY 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ (If you are into weird things and sometimes question your own sanity👀)
With that being said, enjoy your reading. <3

At 33% into the story I couldn’t anymore. Cool, now you feel sorry because they can’t reproduce so just accept it all and feel guilty. No. That’s so overplayed and annoying that I couldn’t continue. Cress’s POV was much better but with it switching back and forth, I couldn’t deal. I hate the whole forcing situation and the fact that they don’t even care about her, you know, Astra’s mates? They don’t comfort her. They don’t try to relate to her. They just order and expect obedience. Not my thing. She was shown off as a lot stronger and then she suddenly was like “they are hot and thats so sad so I guess I’ll just go along with everything”. Bad way to end the POV and doesn’t make me want to read further. Reason why it is a 2 star is Cress’ POV. At least her one mate was freaking sweet with her.
This book gives a light-hearted and humorous view of being abducted by aliens who are in desperate need of human mates to save their races. There are twelve Jade sisters with this story focusing on the fraternal twins. The twins, Astra and Cressida, are constantly bantering to cope with their new reality much to the bemusement of their abductors. Apparently, the sisters have not been abducted randomly and in fact have a bloodline that makes them very desirable to many alien races. The controlling council has ruled that each race may only take 1 sister from the Jade bloodline. The reader is simultaneously treated to each sister’s story in alternating chapters as they fight their feelings for their new mates and try to get back to each other.
I enjoyed the alien’s mates confusion regarding their new human mate. Their bafflement over the slang and euphemisms used, especially with nicknames, was amusing. I loved the differences explained in each alien race (who doesn’t love special peens!) I appreciated the efforts the males went to in trying to show the girls how pleased they were to have found a mate.
I did find the twins’ interactions slightly juvenile and annoying initially but found them improved as the story continued. I wish the story had been a little longer, I would have loved to have experienced the male POV and connect to them more.
The story left me keen to see what will happen with the remaining sisters and I hope they will all get a story. I received an ARC from the authors for my honest opinion.
I was definitely excited to read this book, I fell in love with alien romance back when I found Ruby Dixon.
The biggest aspect of this book is the humor. There are jokes around every corner and the poor alien abductors aren’t ready for it. I enjoyed the sisters and their dynamic and the steamy scenes were very interesting and original. What a shame to be thirsty on this alien planet…
I think the book could have been a bit longer, just so I could better connect to the characters. The attempts at humor got to be a little much at times. The aliens were interesting but I didn’t connect to any of them (maybe due to the length).
If you like fun, shorter alien steamy reads, then give it a go!
I absolutely loved this book. I laughed so hard my ribs hurt, tears were streaming down by face and I couldn't catch my breath. It was hilarious. I loved the twin bond bring a twin myself except I'm an identical twin. The aliens use of urban dictionary and plenty had me grabbing my stomach in a laughing fit. And the sexy scenes were yummy. I loved hoe protective each women's alien mated were of them it was sweet. And what blueberry did for Cressie with the shava was so heartwarming and cute. I loved, loved, loved this book and I cannot wait for the next one. I highly recommend if you like alien mates and lots of humour.
OMG I was laughing non stop. Cressida and Astra were hilarious. This was an entertaining quick read. Granted these twins never imagined being abducted by aliens or being mates to two different species.
Separated from each other Astra and Cress never gave up hope that they would be reunited; even if their alien mates are enemies; nothing can stand in the way of a sister's love.
Learning about how various alien species has been tracking them and their sisters lead Astra and Cress thinking that someone in their family has been keeping some intergalactic secrets.
This story had me laughing out loud at the witty one liners and hilarious banter between the sisters. I love the dynamic between Astra and Cress and I love that we get a unique 2-in-1 romance.
The sisters take their alien abductors by storm and they’re not sure what to make of them. Each sister has their own set of aliens mates, which comes with its own unique set of challenges.
The multiple POVs, fancy alien equipment, hilarious banter, and alien spice will all make you say…
I wanted to like this book because I prefer lighter romances. Unfortunately, the beginning was trying so hard to be funny that it was like slapstick comedy. (For me, when a book claim to be laugh-out-loud funny, it rarely is.) Also, I found it difficult to follow the chapters which were alternating not only between the two sisters' points of view but also the different types of aliens that had captured them. The premise is interesting, but going back and forth between the two was confusing.
I thought it was an original and fun read. It moves at a quick pace and fits the length of the story perfectly. We get lots of humor and some steam! The POV were told from the sisters, Cress and Astra. Each sister has different mates and those mates are from different alien species. I really enjoyed it! If you love why choose, yummy alien mates, humor and spice this will be perfect for you! I can't wait to get more of the Jade sister's stories.

This is book one in The Intergalactic Jade Collectors series. I thouhly enjoyed reading this book by these two authors. It had me laughing at how the characters the two sisters and thier alein mates alien mates, they may have been abducted but in the end it was the best thing that happened to these two sisters. I can't wait to read what happens next with the next set of Jade sistersband thier mates.
This book is such a fun read. I so love the twins. The story flips between the two of them as they are pulled (abducted) away from each other. But they never stop trying to get back to each other. They each have a unique experience and boy do I mean unique. The alien males are nothing like a human. Things get pretty hot as the romance builds. The story is filled with humor as both of these women love to talk and sass.
OMG! I loved this book! It was great to find how this writers came together and wrote a book in which they blend seamlessly and at the same time you can recognize each of their voices! I laughed like crazy with all the silly jokes and the way the twins minds worked, loved to see how the aliens thought their translators were malfunctioning or they were illiterate. I hope to read more on this group very soon!!!
Funny story! But… it was difficult to follow with both sisters alternating chapters. I had to keep stopping and thinking, ok this one has 3 “bird” mates and their names are… Or this sister is the one with the 2 lizard mates that do this…. It might have been ok if the sisters were with the same type of alien; so there weren’t 2 different species with different anatomies, customs, etc. It was hard to fully immerse myself in the book and enjoy it.
Ok I’m an ass, I just realized my earlier review never went through!
I was fortunate enough to get this as an ARC and I was breathless with laughter almost the entire way through this book! The combined humour of the Authors was amazing and had me in stitches. It was very descriptive and well written, not something I would have normally went for but I’m so glad I took the chance. I’m now a big fan of butt feathers.
It has good flow and pace and the smut! Definitely a whole lot of chillies.
I rarely DNF. But I couldn’t help it. The MMCs were weird and the FMCs were SO immature it was gross. It was like reading about children being forced to be sexual mates but in order to not get in trouble, the authors just said they were adults. The “women” were extremely childish and immature to the point it made me uncomfortable, and the dialog between their captors was excruciating and annoying as hell. I soups have stopped earlier than I did.
This was such a hilarious book. It was a unique book for me in that I have never read a rh w two fmc where we get to see both sides of each fmc pov. I absolutely loved Cress and Astra and their mates and the journey they find themselves on when they are unexpectedly forced visitors on a strange alien ship. This is a great read!! Loved it.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Rating : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice : 🌶🌶🌶🌶
I absolutely loooooved this book !! I spent most of it crying in laughter. The banter between the characters and especially the sisters was nice and refreshing ! In this book you will find steam and plot ! Each chapter alternates between the sisters which can be hard to follow at first but it gets better. This is quick paced and I’m a little sad that the book was not longer to make the most of it and connect more with some of the characters ! If you are into short reads, lots of spice and a funny read don’t hesitate and dive in !!
This is what I mean when I say I want my aliens to look like aliens. I got my sugar, spice, and everything nice; not to mention humor and hot aliens. While I enjoyed the relationship each girl had with her men, I absolutely loved their sister relationship. My only complaint is the lack of alien POV
This was a highly entertaining and humourous story that follows twin sisters that get kidnapped by aliens. Expect to laugh out loud when you see what-all Cress and Astra get up to with their new mates. I'm really looking forward to the next book, as I have no doubt that the steam and giggles will continue. Good fun!
Quick fairly sweet alien abduction read. Filled with interesting… appendages, sweet smexy times, and a couple different types of aliens. Twins females, abducted from Earth to be breeders to two different species on the same planet. Super cute, can’t wait for the next book in series! 💜
D.T.G.P. is a wonderful combination of paranormal romance and laugh out loud comedy. Cress and Astra are hilarious, witty, and smart, and I truly enjoyed watching their relationships with their mates develop. The back and forth between the characters, the comedy, and it is oooo sooo spicy! You will not regret it if you choose to read this book!
