Incredibly practical and useful- tons of ideas from beginning of Unit until end. Not patronizing, either.

Differentiated Instructional Strategies is the best book I've read on differentiating instruction. Although the book contains less theory than most books on the topic, it is filled with lots of specific strategies. Many forms and worksheets give the reader clear examples of how to implement the ideas. With this book in hand a teacher could confidently teach a differentiated lesson.

Offers several strategies that are not already part of Kagan. Earns a place on the classroom bookcase.

I read this with a group of teachers. It had many applications, but is really an entry level to differentiation.

Interesting, again I am sure I read it while in school, but didn't remember it. But it brought back a lot of principles to memory that I had learned before.

A very basic overview of differentiated instruction. This book is not for teachers seeking to deepen their knowledge of differentiation or explore ways to manage the differentiated classroom.
