EXCELLENT PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER

Wow! This series was fantastic! It was filled with so much suspense, it was hard to put down. Definitely one of the best series I’ve read in a long time. I would totally recommend this book to anyone who loves the thrill of suspense and the excitement of the unknown.
Kudos to you, Rob Kaufman, for a beautifully written series! I’m hoping for Book 4 in order to let the story live on.

it will take me a while to untangle all my emotions…

After finishing this book, I really need to go back to therapy. I don’t know why AVENGED affected me this way, but kudos to Rob for sending me on emotional roller- coaster. Not only the final unexpected twist was terrific, but the whole ride to get there was… woah!!

I love psychological thrillers, but it’s been a while since a book evoked so many emotions in me.

I really think that what separates a great author from just an author. Making your reader feel a huge range of emotions, sometimes even empathy with a bad guy ( if only for a moment, and only for his child self)

And yes, I want more Wright books!

My new favorite author! After reading this series, I am getting the rest of Kaufman’s books!

Awesome Series

I read a lot of series and this is the first one in a long time that has captivated me so much that I've read all 3 books in 3 days. To say that I'm a fan of Kaufman's work would be an understatement as his books unhinge me (in the very best way)! This one is the 3rd in the series revolving around Justin Wright and wife, Mandy as their young son, Michael who was abducted is now returned to them but obviously the trauma still exists. New patient, Richard is an angry man who, left on his own, allows his seething violence to manifest itself on unsuspecting strangers. Now Justin must deal with his patients as well as his own son and the "alters" of his older son, now dead. Seriously, this book has so many crazy, twisted elements to it that you may seek therapy after reading it--or just take a deep breath and be happy you are sane as your brain will need time to recover! And yes Mr. Kaufman, we need more from Justin and family!

Captivating‼️

I don’t know where to start discussing this series. I usually start a series and after reading the first book I jump around and read other books in different series’ before I go back to the original series I started. This series captivated me from book one. I immediately had to buy the second book and then the third and the fourth which I just started. I have never read a series like this. It had me from the beginning. I would have to say this is the absolutely best series I have ever read. I’m rather surprised there is a fourth book as I felt everything was pretty much wrapped up by the end of the third book. I’m very curious about which direction the fourth book will go. I’m sure it will be just as captivating though in a somewhat different storyline. I’ll have to wait and see. Thank you Robert Kaufman for a truly amazing series.

I absolutely love this series about a Psychiatrist who has his fair share of challenges with his patients, son, and so much death around him. I never expected to have so many connections in this book, with links from the past to the present. The twists and turns captivated me, and I never imagined how it would end. I would have liked a bit more of the loose ends tied up at the end, but it was still an amazing story with an intriguing plotline. I would definitely read another book if the author decides to write a fourth book in this great series. It is a story you cannot put down. So well worth the read.

Full circle

The author ended where the story started. Well done. Looking forward to future stories, about Disorders rarely discussed and the impact on families. RKaufam serves up an intelligent Psychiatrist, who is committed to changing how severe mental health disorders are discussed and treated. Bringing mental health is a relief for those who live in silence, including person, family, friends , professionals and those who encounter these silenced individuals.

Book #3 of the Justin Wright Series

Rob Kaufman knows how to draw you into his books. The characters in these 3 books are great, the storyline is suspenseful and will keep you reading late into the night! He makes you feel the emanations of each character. Many of the characters in book #3 brought a lot of the storyline together. Justin Walker and his family have gone thru a lot over several years and this year is no different. It will make you think what else they will have to endure. I can’t wait to read book #4!

Love the series and Avenged ties it all together. So many twists and turns that kept me captivated until the end. I could not put my Kindle down until I read the last page. Packed with surprises and interesting characters. Definately a 5 star plus read! I highly recommend all his books and especially this series. You will not be disappointed.
Rob is a superb writer and cannot wait to read his next book. He is by far the BEST!

Oh my gosh! Everything becomes clearer in this book. The roller coaster ride this took me on trying to understand Jade from book two and onward to Rick or ‘Richard’ in Avenged. I couldn’t help but think or “assume” that Richard was going to be very similar to Frank Devlin, or one of his alters ‘Nathan’, and my assumptions were right!!

Dream

This was an incredible series! This book ended with a phenomenal experience ending with which I had similar emotions!

Jason's waking up from dying and choosing to be in the real world was absolutely captivating! I died in an automobile crash but came back, and this passage clearly; with emotions, reminded me of my experience!

Third in the series

While I liked the first two books in the series, this one came up short and it actually brings to light the too easy coincidences and “tie-ins” of the other two books. With each book another person turns up who is somehow also involved in all that happens. It’s just too much. So much so, that I won’t be reading the last book in the series.

Avenged

Unbelievably addictive, must force myself to stop reading and get moving with life’s activities. I was spellbound by the author’s description of dying. Lots of surprises and emotions elicited on every page. Gotta end now…anxious to start Book 4.
