This report describes perceptions, attitudes and practices of knowledge about good hygiene and sanitation to prevent waterborne diseases among people from different a cross sectional study conducted in Chittagong Metropolitan Area, Chittagong, Bangladesh.
This report collected data from 250 respondents. Questions are asked about causes of water borne diseases, main causes of water borne diseases, examples of water borne diseases, common symptoms of water borne diseases, route of transmission of water borne diseases.
Also, discussing when to wash hands, the source of their drinking water, the type of toilet they are using, what they use to clean their hands after using the toilet, how often nails are cut, how to prevent WBD by treating drinking water The question about whether to go or not and many more questions are explained in detail.
