Rate this book
Though feared by a world unwilling to accept those who are different, the X-Men led by their mentor, Professor Charles Xavier, are dedicated to protecting humanity from the forces of chaos, hoping to one day rid the world of an even greater darkness -- the prejudice that has made them outcasts. Black Bolt, Medusa, Gorgon, Karnak, Triton, and Crystal are the royal family of the Inhumans -- a civilization of people gifted with amazing powers by alien technology. Like the X-Men they were persecuted for being different. Ultimately they found refuge in the Himalayas. What threat is so great they could unite these two families to defend an Earth that hates them at the risk of their own lives . . . ?
