Every afternoon, Uncle Farley takes a three-hour nap. And every afternoon, he pops his false teeth out of his mouth and into a glass of water. One day, Morgan decides she'll steal them to show her friends. But while they're on the wharf oohing and ahhing, Morgan accidentally drops Uncle Farley's teeth into the ocean! She thinks they're gone forever until she sees a fabulous fish...with a fabulous set of teeth in its mouth. Morgan and her friends pool their resources to get the teeth back―Ian's dad is a fisherman, Zakia's mom is a dentist, Markee's dad is a police officer―but the fabulous fish just won't spit them out. Will Morgan be able wrangle Uncle Farley's false teeth back before he wakes up? “Alicia’s Review”
The book is about a girl named Morgan who took her uncle’s false teeth and dropped them in the water. Unfortunately a fish got them in his mouth. (Eww, I know.) The book is funny and I enjoyed reading it to my brother.
I rate this book a 4/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Keep reading for my little brother’s review!

"It was very silly, and It's my second favorite book that I got to review so far. I really liked the drawings in the book, and my favorite picture in the book was when the police officer got covered in bubblegum.”
Q: (What would you do if you were Morgan?)
A: “I would ask the fish if I could get the teeth back”.
Q: (What was your favorite part of the book?)
A: “My favorite part of the book was when the fish blew a big bubble gum.”
Uncle Farley's False Teeth was a perfect book for World Read Aloud Day. The repeated verse; "The fabulous fish with the freckled fin swam boldly into the harbour again he wore Uncle Farley's teeth as if they belonged to him" is sure to have kids joining in when reading aloud. Kids are also likely to repeat the statement: "Uncle Farley's Teeth was still in his mouth" that is at the end of each page with the expectation of you turning to the next page. The book is chalked full of humour as each of the friends try to retrieve the false teeth before Uncle Farley awakes. It was also the perfect book to be illustrated by Michael Martchenko!
Morgan’s Uncle Farley always dropped his false teeth into a glass of water before his nap. This time, while he was sleeping, Morgan took the false teeth to the wharf to show her friends. Accidentally, she dropped them into the water where a big fish claimed them as his own. The fish could not be convinced to give them back until Morgan told him one particular thing. Entertaining story with funny illustrations.
