This book is about some of the fastest animals on land. The author talks about rats, rabbits, cheetahs, and ostriches. The author explains why the animals run and what they are looking for. There is a map at the end of the book with a picture of the fast animals where they can be found. This would be fun to show little kids and ask them what animal is their favorite and where they can be found on the map.

The book would be a good way for students to learn about different animals who move fast all over the world. I really liked the map at the end that showed where all the animals that were described were from to show comparison of their placement in this world. I really enjoyed the describing words that were used in the book.
