It’s no secret, we all know what kind of story will be getting when we read a JK gem, but this one fell a little flat. There is a 30+ year age gap with one of the men, so if you’re into that…

If women out there start hurting their heads hoping to get someone to cure them with a “curse” that will require them to sleep with 3 men at the same time… well, then we can only blame Jessa Kane 🤣.

Trust JK to have a unique premise 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️.

Magnolia’s (19) having a coming-out/debutante ball and she doesn’t want it; she doesn’t wanna get married and she’s tired of being locked up/not allowed to live her life. Her guardian Karson (51) and the other ward she lives with Pace (23) are way too protective of her.

So protective that Pace sees she’s only wearing her undies as she’s about to throw a vase because she’s frustrated and he does the only sane thing a man can do…

He throws her over his shoulder, spanks her, then puts a 🍑 plug in her duh 😅🫣. And this is all in chapter 1 😬. Talk about one of the fastest 🔥 by Jessa Kane 😮‍💨.

In retaliation, she “runs” away (more like explores the woods around her mansion lol) straight into the arms of a “stranger” Mateo (22?, who’s been watching her for a whiiiile) that was “bird watching” (🤦🏻‍♀️🤔) and invites her into his tent 👀. Well, of course he has to taste her 😅🔥. And she him 👀

She panics and runs back home, which is when she trips as she’s sneaking back into her room and hits her head. Then, the lady from the catering company cures her with the curse.

And now, she can only find *release* with no less then three men 😅.

I know. 😅

I knowwwww that when I read JK, I’m gonna get some craaaazy ish. But you know what? I don’t even care 🤣 being cursed and only able to feel better when there’s 3 men is unique in my eyes 😉 💅.

As usual, we get OTT scenarios, and so many 🔥 scene with the diiirtiness that usually comes with JK books. Lots of diiirty talk too 😉🥵.

I *think* it’s JK’s first RH book, and she did NOT disappoint 😮‍💨. She gave us all the 🔥 and 💦 that’s supposed to happen with an RH. We get the *almost* required DP scenes, which some RHs don’t even have 😑. Luckily for us, JK really said 😈 and did it all 😮‍💨

I wish it was longer (duh) and had more character development/history. Why are the men sooo obsessed with her? Etc etc etc

But, as usual, I’m fine with sitting back and reading this smuuuutty goodness so 😉.

I have read this book blindly and I picked it out of curiosity since it was recommended by a Booktuber. Well, surprise! 🤣

Before you even check this book out, just a gentle warning that this is not a love story (not that I see it that way) and it's certainly not for the faint-hearted because of the smut fest going on. You have been warned. Lol.

You can expect a menage, reverse-harem story in this book centered around the main heroine Magnolia Van Dam who was about to have her coming out ball. Unfortunately before the ball happened, she was cursed by a goddess and to fight this curse she needs to have three men in her life to satisfy her and those are fulfilled by Mateo, Karson, and Pace.

The writing was really good. It's my first time to read a Jessa Kane book (I'm not sure if she mainly writes smut genre) but her writing is exceptional. While the story is all kinds of unrealistic, it was a good kind of entertainment and I found myself laughing at some point. 🤣

BASICALLY…she has her debutant ball where she will be married off. Her foster brother Pace wants her so in the meantime he puts a butt plug in her booty as a reminder?? She runs away encounters an FBI AGENT who is actually another foster brothers of hers lol named Mateo. He 🍽️ her 🐱 within 5 minutes. Then she runs back to the house but as she sneaking in she falls and HITS HER HEAD. She’s about to die but then the catering lady finds her and heals her cause oh yeah she’s a WITCH.

She’s healed & cursed. What’s the curse? So glad you asked…she basically is super h0rny and can’t find her release with only one man. You’d think the step brothers can help but they can’t. Why? So glad you asked again!!!! they need a 3rd and the 3rd is her foster daddy!!!!! Then it becomes a why choose I’m crying. I LEGIT CANT MAKE THIS UP

Whewwwww, this was a treat! I loved it. In it there's Magnolia who is confused by the men in her life. Her guardian, Karson, is a bad man who is involved in illegal things. Karson's other ward, Pace, is following in his footsteps. And lastly we have Matteo, Magnolia's foster brother from many years ago who is also an FBI agent. So yes, this is borderline incestuous but I. LOVED. IT.

I adore how Jessa Kane always comes up with the craziest plots! She's a favorite novella author of mine, and this novella just cements that fact. I love her work and can't wait to see more!

Nothing like disappointment from not enjoying a new release from one of your favorite authors. I liked the premise of this book, but the execution didn't do it for me.

I would have enjoyed this more had it been between a guardian and his three wards. Mateo rubbed me the wrong way and messed up the book's groove. Dude hasn't seen Magnolia in YEARS and got the nerve to act like she belongs to him. Like where you come from?!

Secondly, what about Magnolia had all these guys twisted up?! All I know about her is that she's a bratty 18/19-year-old. We got no commentary on what these guys liked about her besides how beautiful she was and her young body.

As usual, everything is straight up over the top, and the smut is the plot. I didn't really enjoy this so I'm impatiently waiting for her next book and fingers crossed I enjoy it more.

‘Hot. Nonsense.’
They’re completely fucking filthy and ridiculously hot.
And they mostly have zero substance, plus the logic is that porn logic…you know? How everything leads back to sex, and the people in front of you are the sexiest people in the entire fucking universe?
It’s that.
But in book form, with a tiny smidge of sweet, and an utterly absurd Heap of obsession and possession.

And she even dares to be able to not only write it well, but write it in a way that you can actually, easily, roll with the ludicruousness of it all! Real smut magic!

The heat level is a five in this book. The story was crazy like we typically expect from the author. The heroine, I could have done without. Almost DNF’d at 10% after her weird temper tantrums acting like a spoiled asshole, but then I remembered it’s JK and had to trust the good stuff was coming. Which it did, with some well done MMFM scenes.
