Acknowledged as the "Grand Master of Fantastic Art," Frank Frazetta changed the illustration world with his trademark paintings of primitive heroes, full-figured heroines, and barbaric beasts. His works, which introduced the world to the likes of "Death Dealer" and "Jaguar God" were featured in comics and on book and magazine covers throughout the second half of the twentieth century. Frazetta 2004 revisits his classic masterpieces and offers refreshing insight into the legendary artist's fifty-year career.
Frank Frazetta was an American fantasy and science fiction artist, noted for work in comic books, paperback book covers, paintings, posters, record-album covers and other media. He was the subject of a 2003 documentary.
Fantastic selection of my favorite artist's works. Beautiful reproductions of some of his most famous works and some less know ones. My highest recommendation
Frank es un símbolo de la cultura del cómic, en especial las portadas,es un ejemplo para cualquiera que desee perfeccionar su técnica y en general su trabajo, un buen ejemplo a seguir
There's not much more to be said about this fourth volume that hasn't been said about the previous three, except...it's Frazetta...of course the entire book is going to be beautiful.
A nice collection of Frazetta's work. Notable for me because it contains one of my favorites, the magnificant "Outlaw of Torn" (pg 27). I love the great horse pawing at the ground, with the knight astride with outstretched sword and billowing red cape.
Another great collection of the works of Frank Frazetta. Similar to the previous volume, Book Four includes a lot of Frank's rough sketches and doodles and features them opposite the colour panels. Another essential purchase if you're a fan of Frank's work.
