Best kickstarter ever!!! Emily was everything I was hoping for plus a little extra. Excellent age gap, best friend’s dad, v-card auction, and kink introduction plus a little bit of intrigue. That little auction site/club twist was just the right amount of surprising. Damian and Emily were absolutely perfect, can’t wait to read Lottie and Titania next. 💜

Damian and Emily are great together, he is the perfect "Daddy" for her, and the fact that she's had a crush on him for years just adds to their chemistry. It's like having a book boyfriend walk into your life after he's been in your fantasies for a long time. I loved the taboo factor that he's her best friend's dad and that years ago he used to be best friends with her father.

When I received the Cherry Popping Daddies Kickstarter (pictured above) I was thrilled to see that in addition to receiving the stories before they were released we also received bonus content! With Emily's story we received a bonus Epilogue and Their Wedding. I will admit that I did shed a few tears with events that occurred on the Wedding day. I also have a big question for Golden. Will we be getting Katrina's story? Because inquiring minds want to know. 😉

These Cherry Popping Daddies are delicious!!
After Titania,i was só curious about Emily,and lucky for me,not only did Golden Angel know exactly what happened to her,she shared the ARC of her story with me!!
And it was só worth it,trust me!
I knew Emily had landed in dire straits,but i didn’t know it was that bad.
It does however make me understand why she signed up for that auction,though…
And i totally understand she was hoping for a man like her besties father to win….because Damian has DILF written all over him!
He’s everything her own father wasn’t,and more.
Lucky for her,he found out about the auction,and needed a distraction from the improper thoughts he had about his daugher’s bestie….
Finding out later on that the auction wasn’t his BDE partner’s idea was a shock to everyone,though.
But who was responsible for it?
It had to be someone with access…..

This was a delicious story,where everyone got what they deserved.
A story that was sweet,spicy and special.
Now,all i need is Lottie’s story,and this sweet trio will be complete.

Book 1 in the Cherry Popping Daddies trilogy

This trilogy centers around the same club: BDE.

And in this story we read about Damian and Emily. Damian is Emily's best friend's dad, Mr. Elliott. Unfortunately, Emily becomes desperate for money after she loses her waitressing job. After learning about a web site that's linked to the BDE club that includes auctions, more specifically virgin auctions she signs up hoping that the one thing she has left is sellable. One day, all of a sudden, Damian sees Emily for the beautiful woman she's grown up to be and has become a little bit obsessed. At least about her safety, and when he accidentally stumbles across the virgin auctions he's transfixed with the newest addition: a curvy brunette that reminds him of Emily. Thinking he'll be able to stop thinking about Emily and enjoy a new experience as well as making sure that this young lady is safe and has a good time seems like the best option.

I couldn't resist the premise so I backed this project on Kickstarter. I'm so looking forward to the physical books and art, but as soon as I received my ebooks I wanted to read them, as I needed a little change of pace. I had fun with this large age-gap, Dad's best friend, "taboo," Daddy Dom romance. Emily is 22 years old in this story and has had a crush on her best friend's dad since high school.

Hot, hot, hot! Never has age difference romance been more apt than in a daddy Dom story. Daddy Damian is the picture perfect daddy Dom. He is big, tough and gentle all at once in a perfect dichotomy. Adding fuel to the off-limits definition of a ‘daddy’ is the fact that his little girl is Emily’s best friend. This story hits every taboo and sparks because of it. Never could Emily have expected all her fantasies to come to life when she auctioned her virginity in a moment of desperation, until she realized the man who bought her was straight out of said fantasies. This story is a rollercoaster ride of tension, lust and unconditional love. After relying only on herself for so long, it was nice to see Emily get someone to take care of her for a change. With her mom in jail and a deadbeat dad, you couldn’t help but feel for her. This story does a remarkable job of blurring the lines between fantasy and reality and I loved it.

Emily is an addictive read and highly entertaining. I like the way how the awkward dating best friend’s dad trope is handled and I love how protective Damien is of Emily. He not only looks out for her as her “daddy” but also as someone who he has admired and loved for so long. I can’t wait to read more in this series. Damien’s brother Braden is the hero in book 2, and I think he is going to be even hotter!

Emily was in dire straits. She really needed a job to pay the bills. Problem is there are no jobs available. So she tries one option, dancing is a strip club. Problem is she isn’t any good at it and being a virgin isn’t helping. When she is given the idea of auctioning off her virginity, it is a novel idea. Honestly what is she holding on to it for. It’s not like Prince Charming is going to sweep her off her feet. Damian has always taken care of his daughter. Made sure she had the money she needs to finish college. He does have a thing for Emily though. He has tried to fight it. When one of his employees tells him about an auction, he thinks he sees Emily. But that isn’t right. Perhaps just one fantasy to clear his mind.

I am loving this story. We all think the grass is always greener on the other side but actually it isn’t. Em thought that her friend Katrina was struggling like her. But for Em, she really was. Having to do what she could to keep a roof over her head and survive was just plain hard. You never know what you will do to have enough money to keep you afloat. Damian was very successful. Yes he could have moved into a nicer neighborhood. But he was happy living in the trailer park. And not all trailer parks are shabby. Surprisingly there are some really nice ones. He is definitely a true Daddy in all ways. We also are introduced to his brothers, Braden and Desmond. And we got a sneak peak at the other two books in the series, Lottie and Tatania. I can’t wait to read the next one. Angel you did great in this one.

Wow. I loved this first book in the Cherry Popping Daddies series. I love Golden Angels writing, and this exceeded my expectations.
I was hooked and could not put my Kindle down. I have become heavily invested in these characters, and I need more 😊
Emily and Damian are great characters. Written with an obvious love for the detail and depth of character that had me hooked from the first few pages.
Emily is doing her best to survive. She is meticulous in her actions to try and keep ahead of the rising tide, but when events conspire against her, she has to take desperate measures to survive.
This leads her down a track she never expected and into the path of Damien.
Damien had been looking out for Emily for years. Checking in from a distance and looking to keep her safe, but Emily has been so careful that nobody knows the truth.
So when their paths cross unexpectedly, they are both thrown for six.
Reality, though, is much better than fantasy. So, the best intentions may not last long.
I loved this story. I love these characters.
I highly recommend this book, series, and author.

Golden Angel has done it again with the first book of the "Cherry Popping Daddies" series. The series' title says it all when describing what you're getting. What it doesn't tell you is that there are three fabulous authors writing in this series and Ms. Angel starts it off with 'Emily'. She's been Damien's daughter's best friend all through school. He used to be friends with her father but life took hold and decisions were made that weren't beneficial. Emily is barely surviving and is in financial straits. Using her last resort to put things on an even keel, Emily adds herself to an auction. Damien, who has been trying to convince himself he's just been watching out for Emily all this time like a father, sees her picture on the auction site. Thinking it couldn't be her, he wins and puts in his bid. Yep, this is a May to December romance wrapped in a DD/lg relationship. Like most of Ms. Angel's storylines, there is humor, angst, a bit of drama, and certainly raw emotion making these characters come to life. I can't wait to read Ms. Moore and Ms. Greywood's addition to the series.

I have read Titania first in this series that centers around an unsanctioned auction being held by the club: BDE. There is a mystery around how this is happening
But the Doms aren't going to let these virgins get abused by whatever trafficking is happening.
Damian is Emily's best dad. Emily, desperate for money after she loses her job. She learning about a web site that includes auctions, specifically virgin auctions. Desperate,she signs up hoping that the one thing she has left is sellable. Emily is 22 years old and has had a crush on her best friend's dad forever.
Damian suddenly, sees Emily for the beautiful woman she's grown up to be. When he accidentally stumbles across the virgin auctions he becomes obsessed with the newest addition who resembles Emily. Thinking he would enjoy a new experience as well as insuring her safety and good time seems like the best option for them both. But this taboo relationship suddenly becomes something that brings them together in this wonderful story.

I've read this but I also backed the Kickstarter for this series. Emily is book one in the new series by three authors. This is Golden Angel's story of Emily and Damian and I loved every word. Emily has had a crush on her Dad's best friend for a long time but of course, Damian won't go there, even though she implanted in his brain. I loved how he kept eyes on her but when Emily gets fired from her job, she has to find a way to make money. That's when she finds out about the "auction". This story kept me turning the pages. Damian goes to the club to try and get her out of his mind but he notices the auction and sees a woman who reminds him of Emily! That's when the story really gets good. What will happen when they discover who each other are? The heat is high in this story and while there is some danger for Emily, you know that Damian will take care of his girl! So good and now it's on to read Lottie!!

This standalone, HEA book was originally available as a kickstarter by the author, but has now been made widely available.
I loved these characters. Both Damian and Emily are wonderful, there is great interaction between them and with such an age difference between them, there is nothing icky about it. I appreciated the way that they both sought to hide their feelings from each other, believing it was one-sided and not acceptable. I especially LOVED that these aren't characters that have had their life go perfectly. In Australia we don't have such a such a large 'trailer park' demographic but I liked the sense of community that was exhibited in the book. The only think I was disappointed with was that I was left wondering what the outcome with Emily's father was. Overall though, a great read.

Emily is the first book of Cherry Popping Daddies by Golden Angel. Emily (MFC) is a resilient young lady who has had a hard life. Her parents were drug users, and her mother is in jail and her father ran off from the family. Damian (MMC) is Emily’s best friend father, and he has always watched out for Emily. Emily was working at the local diner and lost her job because the owner had to her nieces for her spot. Emily was desperate for money to keep afloat, so she tried to get a job at the local strip place (secretly owned by Damian and his brothers). But she is not cut out for that. So, one of the strippers suggested that she auction her virginity. Damian’s wife has been a widow for years and is ready start dating. Secretly Damian is attracted to Emily, and he enters the auction in the hope of forgetting Emily. Emily, who is also attracted to Damian, is unaware that he bids in the auction for the girl that looks like Emily. The chemistry between Damian and Emily is smoking hot and there are many twists and turns. This story moves fast and is enjoyable. This book is a fun read.

If any of those tropes appeal to you then this is a must read. Golden Angel is one of the first authors I read when I dipped my tow into the BDSM genre of romance and she continues to deliver amazing stories about characters I quickly become invested in so I couldn't wait to get my hands on Emily. The story is HOT with a side of heartbreak followed by healing. I loved that the drama in the stories circled around the characters instead of between them. I loved the passion and tender moments. I loved the humor and the heat. I loved Emily's sass and Damien's calm control. I basically loved everything about it, and im excited to read the next two books in this shared world series.

While I'm not a fan of this type of age gap, in real life, since the man usually drops their "aging" wife for someone who "makes them feel young again", smh. Golden Angel makes this trope very easy to read and enjoy. If I'd been in the same situation, I would have totally done the same thing. Probably would have been more enjoyable too. LOL. Emily is the first in a series of three novels, all based in the same Club BDE. The characters are very relatable and you truly care about what happens. Thank you for saving the kitten. :) Also, poor subby Shane; while you bring him to life, Stella "spanked" his butt. I'm dying over here. Even if this genre isn't your "thing", do yourself a favor and read this one. You'll be happy you did.

Audiobook Review

Emily and Damien

Performance: Dean Cray did a good job as the only narrator. He is decent at doing female voices and his voice choice for Damien was yummy.

Story: This is the first in Cherry Popping Daddies series but it can be read as a standalone. The premise of a virgin auction isn’t new but how this author approaches it felt original. Emily has been dealt a crappy hand and is just trying to keep her head above water financially. Damien is trying to get back into romance after the death of his wife. No spoilers here but they do get an HEA. If you like forbidden romance, age-gap, Daddy Dom and punishments without age-play and virgin FMC this story is for you.

I loved reading this story. It's very well done. A very enjoyable read. Emily is a sweet girl trying to get by while hoping that life will get better. Damien is a Daddy Dom trying to move on from his wife's death two years previously. I loved both of them and their hot chemistry. There are plenty of hot sexy scenes and other elements that make this a very interesting page-turner. All the characters are well done, real and alive. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series, especially if it is half as good as this one. Well worth reading.

Never be ashamed of how much you love, or how quickly you fall...

A sensational start to this trilogy. The forbidden has always intrigued me. This story also has age gap, best friend's dad and an auction that blows all auctions out of the water. Emily and Damian do not realize what's ahead for them both.

A first-class page turner that is provocative and steamy and will definitely ravish all of your senses.

Daddy issues, best friends father, age gap and add in a soup on of BDSM and you have Emily. A lovely story with a mystery running through it. The characters with the exception of Don are so likeable and you want Emily and Damian to be together. Katrina is a wonderful friend and even Emily’s mother is in their corner as is everyone in the trailer park, even Phoenix. An enjoyable read that introduces the three brothers and the problem they are facing with a phony web site.

Damien & Emily were fabulous!! I loved everything about this story! You've got an age gap, best friend's dad, auction, kink...the whole nine yards!

I loved how Damien was there for Emily, even when she didn't know it! He always made sure that she was safe.

Emily always had a crush on her best friend's dad. I loved how she was able to lean on him, even when she wasn’t sure she was able to.

I truly enjoyed this story and I cannot wait for the others in this series!

Cherry Poppin Daddy's book one Emily! Wow, that's all I got. So, I originally got this series on the kickstarter. I'm like okay. I like Stella Moore. I love Daddy books. I'll do this, I'm familiar with Golden Angel, and I like the book that I read from her so I did this whole thing.
So I ended up listening to the audiobook instead of just reading it and I'm so glad I did. The story is good. Well written and the narrator does an awesome job. Can't wait to read the next two.
