A sort of guide to modern household management which in principal is a sensible enough idea. To be fair I did pick up a few new tricks and if you didn't know much about cooking that relevant section might be quite useful. On the downside Coulson writes like a Magazine journalist which means:
a) There is a lot of padding in this book - advertising various companies and service providers which also means the book will go out of date by the time you have read this.
b) There are lots pointless bullet points says things only slightly wiser than: DO remember to breathe as your respiratory system helps to keep you alive. Bullet points are like Tourettes syndrome for the woman.
c) The constant references to scented candles, essential oils, perfect creases and canapes make you feel somehow dirty, cheap, soiled and like you've had a lobotomy.
