This book is a sweet, nurturing, bedtime story of a mother and her baby. Children form special bonds with their parents, and it is important to understand that about your students and let them share their family stories. I think this would be a good story to read to Pre-K or Kindergarten studnets who may be struggling with leaving their parents, and can also remind them of when they were a baby. This story made me feel warm and happy, and I loved the realistic illustrations as well.
