Roy Hession, author of the best-sellerThe Calvary Road, writes on a vital subject for Christians--our need for a continuing walk in the Spirit. This text will challenge you spiritually while offering your practical advice to help you seek out God's design for your life.
I suspect I will need to read this a few more times, like it's prequel (Calvary Road) to keep gaining from it. I appreciate that his call to a Spirit-filled life is so ordinary, so daily, so un-hype-y.
A brilliant little book and extremely helpful. Stop on the self-improvement merry go round, repent when you need to, call sin - sin, confess and be filled. Faith works with repentance.

This book speaks about the role of the Holy Spirit, particularly as convictor and comforter. He discusses Jesus's advocacy for us to the Father, and the Holy Spirit's advocacy for Jesus Christ in the world. "His great function.. is to safeguard the interests and throne rights of the Lord Jesus in the world, the church, and the individual believer". Hession encourages beleivers to seek God by confessing our emptiness rather than striving harder.
