This little book is the best defense of credobaptism I have ever seen. It uses no shortage of Scripture while also incorporating logic but never seen before. It makes many cases (from a Reformed perspective) for credobaptism while also addressing the many flaws in the paedobaptism stance.

I am glad I read this little book. I have been back and forth between pedobaptism and credobaptism because I've been wondering why so many good theologians in history have practiced (and still are practicing it). This book answered many of my questions and is keeping me in the credobaptist conviction. I am still going to continue my readings on both sides but Waldron's exegesis of the texts in question is the most compelling exegesis by far.

Great book on baptism according to the Bible. Both polemic against cases for infant baptism, and irenic for how the Bible actually describes baptism. Great book for the layman and the theologian.

Would even be a great book for churches to use for the classes they have for prospective baptisms!
