The Process

Rate this book
Greggie Morebooks presents a work of 40 poems by career poet Gregory St. John Taylor in a mixed bag called The Process, a series initially comprising six related collections, and continuing to grow for the future. Every unique poem needs a place to be seen and read, and West Chester, Pennsylvania, DUO Publications & Documentation R&D company editor Greggie Morebooks is doing just that. The first in this collection, Western Shapes, was written in Aetna, New Hampshire in 1972, when invited by his sister, Joan, to take some "time off" after Greg graduated from Penn State. One of the first poems by the poet was “The Line and the Order of Things” written in 1970 in a dormer room of a house on Gill Street in State College, Pennsylvania. The idea of recognizing himself as a poet occurred in Wiesbaden, Germany in 1969 when he was serving in the U.S. Air Force in Europe (USAF) with the 7101st Materiel Squadron, Bench Stock Unit. The collection is mixed with varying styles and character, which makes the effect of the work just as mixed. The range of the first six collections spans some 54 years at this time in 2023, and all poems speak for that span. If you like to contemplate poetry, this eclectic collection will hopefully provide that enjoyment and fulfillment.
