BOOK ONE IN THE ORDAINED CATASTROPHE AN END TIMES THRILLER
The United States has survived a pandemic and the famine that followed, but America finds herself backed into a corner when Chinese-Russian forces arrive at her borders. In a country starved of patriotism and divided on every stance, this invasion is the breaking point.
Brigadier General Claudius St. Olliare finds himself at the head of his unit's defensive strategies, but it's hard to make decisions while he is torn between his discarded faith and a scandalous forbidden love with a younger soldier.
Major Keoni Banks knows she shouldn't be involved in a secret romance with a general, especially as a Christian woman. But she lets her heart take over, instead of her faith.
Zion Reinhardt, a deacon at a famous mega-church in Illinois has everything he needs--money, fame, and his pick of the pretty church girls. But he doesn't have a heart for God.
No wonder these three people are left behind to face the chaos when the sky cracks open and Jesus returns. Now they must try to survive the coming war, panicking riots, and pestilence outbreaks. Not to mention the rumors of another force joining the fray ... something supernatural. Something that isn't even alive anymore...
This is BOOK ONE in a Christian End Times saga. It is filled with action and biblical references, but it is not meant to be taken as a literal depiction of the End Times as described in the Book of Revelation.

A bit strange. I’m not positive about recommending it
So this is a strange mix of different genres. It is part Sci-Fi, romance novel, a vague reference to the Biblical end of days, and a broad suggestion of Biblical prophecy. Confused? Me too. It is a bit of an interesting story, but if you’re looking for end of days prophetic based book I think you will want to keep moving. If you like romance, some dystopia, and are a Sci-Fi fan this could be for you.
Cannot air to start second in the series. A.Bean's writing is detail oriented and I love the interweaving of scripture and sci-fi apocalyptic fiction. Thank you for this be series. I loved your other ones.
DNF ugh. This book killed me in two chapters. I never got to the Rapture (?) and zombies. The military word salad that was used highlighted the author bit off more than she could chew. There is zero real knowledge (or well researched) of the military. It felt like she watched some military movies and started writing. From the age of the characters/rank, pieces of the uniform, to the easily researchable ability of the military, it was all wrong. Not just a bit wrong and we can move on but horridly wrong. I had to stop when the initial meeting to set up the conflict was so stupid I was shouting at my poor kindle. Apparently, the USA Army alone would decide whether our two allies would live or die. Disregarding all other military branches, countries and peoples of the world is childishly written. Not worth another minute of my life or yours.
End times dystopian novels have become a passion of mine . The brilliance of what A .Bean has done is impressive . This is a unique and brilliant that will keep you glued to the next page. From the very first chapter ,I was hooked and will certainly finish this entire series . Its worth every minute of your time.
I struggled to really stay in this book. it started slow and then went crazy pretty deep in. I finally realized the pace was important to really get to know the main characters. The first half took awhile but the second half pulled me all the way in. There are four other books and it's my hope that they keep the pace the first ended with.
As I was reading this my son called to tell me that America is letting Chinese join our military and at the end of basic training they are giving them citizenship. Want to know how much trouble America is in? Read this
Wild and crazy read unlike anything I have read before. This is a strange, twisted story filled with shocking scenes. But the real strangeness doesn’t show up until the end which I won’t reveal.
I am certainly looking forward to reading the next in the series. Some of what is written could make you believe it is written from the headlines. Also, makes you think about what is possible.
I really enjoyed reading this. Good characters. I found the invasion by “Chinese Sleepers” to be an interesting twist. The biblical revelation aspects are getting very interesting.
