This rare glimpse into the Thuggee cult (where we get the word 'thug' from) looks at how this group terrorized innocent travelers and how the British finally eradicated them. Questions of religion and what one does in the name of sacrifice are presented here in a very unique way. Not for the faint of heart - but a fascinating read.

It was great diving into the past to learn about the ancient Thugee cult. If you are an Indiana Jones fan, then you should like this book as it gives information that inspired the Temple of Doom.
